I've got another problem now. I went to test IGO8 and I can't get GPS connection. I've tried to search for an answer, no luck.
Any suggestions?

Try to disable AGPS by installing Schaps Advanced Config. Look it up in XDA-DEVELOPERS and follow the instructions there, it's very detailed.

I solved it myself:) Again
I went to Expert Settings on IGO menu, then GPS and saw a message "GPS driver not installed", so I let the software search for a GPS by itself and it did find it
I also managed to find TMC hardware But I don't think there is TMC available in Ireland:)

Use a different skin that allows those fields to be user selectable....see the "speedcam/voices/other" subforum, "igo8 skins" thread

I'm currently using the default skin. I don't recall it included this info before (can't recall what WAS included, but definitely not this).
Is it possible to define these fields via SYS.TXT?

I don't think so.....I use the Dimka skin (and have for ages), it has highly customizable data fields.

I got to choose the language and voice, but I get a message "Out of memory" while doing "Initializing warning data".
There is like 60MB free on the Storage Card and everything else that's not on SD (2MB), everything's on SD.
What could be the problem?

Problem solved, I had 2 Speedcam files loaded. There should be only 1 file

Could you tell me how many files and its name you have into your speedcam folder?
I have problems with 0xc00000005 memory errors in igo amigo and i am searching for the solution.
I know that igo amigo eats up lots of resources (Indeed i´m using themechanger, tts voices, newest dem, scheems of igo8 and so.......,)and maybe the problem is that i have 3 speedcam files;

speedcam txt
speedcam.spdb
speedcamupdates.spdb

You think i should delete any of these files?

I actually don't have a 320 x 240, But can I say well done, it looks great.
A great deal of hard work must of went into making it to be that perfect.

I've the SE Xperia. I downloaded the file nav.nov13.rar and tried to install it, but it doesn't work. I've an SD-Card.

The error says "failed to open file: ui_igo8\480_800\loading.bmp exiting application".

I have only one txt file in my speecam folder. speedcams20090130.txt to be exact.

I have been using IGO on my CDMA HTC TP, and it works well. However, TTS stops working after several days. I have to erase the entire IGO program, reboot the device, and reload IGO again. It works again for a few days and then stops. Other voices (not TTS) work fine.

I have read something on this forum about the issue, but cannot find it any more.

I use the program from this thread, US maps, and TTS files from this forum as well. Nothing added in my sys.txt file. Worldwide license.

If any of you can think of a solution, I would greatly appreciate it.

I am running ig0 from my sd card and everything works fine . But after i make a shortcut with total commander and then try to run it from the short cut i get an error cdand find application database insert orginal sdcard. Any ideas what i am doing wrong?
