Hi, I am searching for a few days now but it seems that I am the only one with this problem (since I cannot find a solution):
As soon as I have a bluetooth connection with my car radio (which is a carkit aswell JVC KDR801) there is no more sound coming from Igo. Only when there is no bluetooth connection I hear the directions via the phone (Omnia) speaker. The car radio supports streaming audio and acts like a headset.

Does anyone know if it is possible to get the direction voice instructions via bluetooth over my car speakers OR if not possible to even hear it over the phone speaker when bluetooth is on? (in last case I just turn down the volume of my car radio to hear it :) ) Does no one else here use Igo in a similar setup? I can't believe that. Thanks a million in advange for yr help!

Would IGO8 8.3.2.83157 work on WinCE 5.0. I know it works on WinCE 4.2 (I am running it), but a fella on the forum with WinCE 5.0 can't get it to run due to a message ''igo8 is not a valid windows CE application''

I'm not sure if its the software or the phone as both are new but I never had a problem with previous igo versions running on my last phone which was HTC TyTN II. Has anyone else had a similar problem?

I had the same problem, update your radio to 1.14... and your problem will be solved.

What brand it is?

Do you still have the original software provided with it? If yes, just copy your old sys.txt file and save folder back to your new iGO and try it.

Let me know.

Add these lines to your sys.txt:

OHH....!! I got confused (thought he was talking about the lanes over which he is navigating on...)
And if you want to make a difference among the lanes (fast and slow ones) add what you see in red. It works even in the indication arrows showed below and above of the screen navigation.

Hi.
I have a problem with this version of Nav N Go iGO 8 R3 series - v8.3.2.83157 (Apr 3 2009).
My device is Asus A696 and I use WM 6.
now the problem is that can't open the application, meaning that when I click the "Nav N Go iGO 8" icon on my device, I can see the opening Igo 8 screen:

Image

but as soon as I see that screen the application exits back to WM default screen, seems to be crashing or something, but absolutely not starting properly. The problem started this week and everything seemed to work perfectly until wednesday.

The sys.txt file contains the following info:

[interface]
show_exit=1

[folders]
app="%SDCARD%/iGO8"

[debug]
cache=2048
reserve_memory=2000000

Does someone have an idea how to solve this problem?
Thanks in advance.

HI could be lot of thins. I have been able to reproduce this bug in 3 differents ways.

1- Replaced my branding.zip file
2- Created a new sys.txt file (deleted old one)
3- Deleted everything in the save folder (do a backup before)

You are wrong. Your unit has model name "NA 350 GPS" and made by Shanghai Yingxun Trading Co., Ltd.
Try to search support according this info.

Something curious - are you test GPS under "clear sky"?

Thanks for your help, i tried 15-20 min. at clear sky, but it didnt work. The problem started after installing iGO Amigo. 2-3 times worked with Amigo then it started to doesnt connect to satellites. I edited system.ini under the save directory, i made some corrections about baud rate but still my GPS doesnt work. :cry:

At first step - check your original shell. Possible, there is a possibility like "GPS View" or something similar. Try it.
If this utility not works - try to perform hard reset and try it again.

I don't have a original shell now, so how can i perform hard reset? One of my friends said that plug out the battery and wait 10 min beacuse of cold start and plug it again but there isn't a connector on the battery, its soldered. Because of this i want to make hard reset but how? I installed new firmware already.
