At this point, I am wondering if iGo understands there is a problem, or perhaps none of their testers have Mio devices like mine, and they have no idea. Here's (raises beer) hoping next version has a fix (but I won't hold my breath!)!

Nope...you're not alone :(

Hi.

I fresh install the lastest version (8.3.2.91972) but the speedcam (17/05/2009) doesn't work.

I already put the .txt file on the correct directory (content\speedcam). The igo takes a time on "Init... warning data" on the first run, but into the warning menu don't appear the speedcam option.
Anyone test this version with speedcams?

tks

I just copy and overwrite the "data.zip", "branding.zip" and igo8.exe files to the last version of igo8. It doesn't display the street names, and look like it running faster. Anyone has an idea to recall the names by modify the "sys.txt" or "system.txt" under save folder. Thanks in advance.

Go outside and wait for a fix (i.e. satellites reception).

Uninstall iGO8, rename your new "iGO8.exe" to "application.dat", and install.

Hmmm...
After I encountered the problem, I uninstalled and did just that, but the issue remained.
I'll try again tonight.

Thank you.

Nope, doesn't help.
And the "overlapping" installation screen remains as well.

I am familiar with this problem.
Other than making sure that there is no "iGO8.exe" file and folder left on your device after uninstallation, I have nothing else to offer (that is, beside a hard reset and formatting the SD-Card, of course).

Hmmm...
I finally resolved the issue by using the set supplied by shaq89.

I had this issue a LONG time ago, and it WAS resolved by renaming the file etc. For some reason it didn't work this time.
But bottom line, it seekms OK now. I'll test everything later today.

Thanks.

AFAIK there's no solution, because the internal TMC hardware and the data protocol isn't supported by iGO and its data interface. No chance.

Folkz,

Since I received numerous complaints regarding FFUI errors especially at 480x272 resolution, and I found corruption within the supplied data.zip, I prepared a fix for this problem.

I have reuploaded the May28 package now with corrected data.zip. All FFUI errors should be gone by now...

As usual, see OP for DL details.

JM

No FFUIERROR previously with original update of this using 320x240 but just upgraded to this 'fixed' version and now getting the following:-

FFUIERROR: Unknown layer referenced
Identifier=[ui_MsndStatusInfoRegistered2]

Any reason for this?

Did you know if TMC is supported by iGO on Navigon 8110 device ?
I'm tried COM1@38400,GNS (like Navigon) but nothing works. Maybe my licence file don't support TMC ?
