They don't work in iGO (v8.3.2.91972 with data.zip 10b from here)

Just ran a test

try convert/create kml to csv.

Format as follows in excel (15 columns)- this gives town first but as town and street are text they can be swapped.

I'm having a problem with the subscription page under the TMC settings page. The subscription page is not centered so that my UUID is not centered and it gets cut off and I cant see the last 3 digits.

How do I change that file so it is centered and I can get the full UUID? I tried data.zip v10b and some other data.zip files and all show the same, so that leads me to believe it's nothing in there. This is also using the default skin so that's not the problem either.

Try adding the below to your SYS.TXT:

class="landscape"
highres=0
screen_x=400
screen_y=240

Make sure you do NOT have a line that says "vga=1" in there.

This will cause iGO to only take up a portion of the screen, but you should then be able to read the TMC subscription page. It worked for me, at least.

It's good to see you here as well... you saved my butt a couple of other times on XDA as well

Your advice worked. It shrunk the screen to about a quarter of the size and I was able to retrieve the full code. I owe you a beer my good man.

1. on my c720 the redraw is very slow. the biggest problem is in 3d mode. the whole screen would get green and gradually clear in layerd way and so on. this seems to be problem with 8.3 for me.

2. how do you get the sign posts to be green
3. is the dem file for usa a single file about 200 megs

also on the teleatlas maps i get false bright sign on the right with bright arrow as if to exit but the verbal instructions says something else. do you have a similar issue

I am a bit lost and I need some help

I would like to find a "decent" spanish skin for Igo8 for a trinity.

I use ultraskin on my raphael but it's not available in spanish. I have the spanish voices for igo8 and for TTS so all i need is the skin

@raoulseca: All you need is Spanish language file with correct translation of all original skin messages. If you wish to keep your skin, try to find and apply (copy the zipped file to Content/Lang, then select Spanish as a language) ANY spanish .LANG file (I am sure you will find it), than go throughout the skin's screens and collect the non/translated messages.
Inside the .LANG file is }inside the i18n folder] the text file DICTIONARY.LANG. Open it in Notepad and add all the missing translations. Then ZIP again the lang file and your skin will completely in Spanish.

i have a generic wince 4.2 - 7" display from china, i have been able to get Nav N Go iGO 8 R3 series - v8.3.2.91972 (May 28 2009) to run on it but the problem im having is that after setting route and pressing "start navigation" igo does nothing but return to a map of london (my route being in a different city). on the gps page igo is receiving satelite information but my guess is that igo is doing nothing with the data (i wonder if there is a missing file that i need), anybody got any ideas, im sure i must be near to a working system now.

You could see satellites on Igo gps page, but you device is not connecting?

On the other hand, starting with Sunday 14, some 2DIN devices, or other GPS devices which are equipped with MStar GPS Chips can not connect with satellites, even the device is seeing them. Some China producers announces that starting with 21 of June 2009, all systems will work again.

use Autodetect function in iGO8 in Settings->GPS and find out your port and for GPS. Then put in sys.txt these lines:

port=2
baud=57600
source="nmea"

(Important: Replace 2 with your device port number and 57600 with your device baude rate.)
If it doesn't work, make a soft reset and try again. If it still doesn't work, delete the <source="nmea"> and try again.

This could be possible. I know of 4 devices that have partial or no satellite signal at all.
All the devices call the sd card "storagecard" if that is any help.
Just have to wait untill monday to find out.
