On the other hand, starting with Sunday 14, some 2DIN devices, or other GPS devices which are equipped with MStar GPS Chips can not connect with satellites, even the device is seeing them. Some China producers announces that starting with 21 of June 2009, all systems will work again.

hi
from where did you get this announce
thx

I have one 2DIN device in this situation. See the satellites but no connection with them.

I have contacted the supplier and I have received this information.
There are 10.000.000 users around the globe in this situation.
Most of devices are using MStar GPS chip sets. From here is the trouble.

As you can see by the picture below from "GPS Status" "GPS Data From Satellites" the device is getting plenty of satellites logging in, but the information is not getting to the chip.
On my device as shown is giving Southings/Northings (In Red) but is not giving an Easting (In Green)
It shows the satellites are there, but not sending the full information.

Well now, what is the real reason to change the communication codes for the American satellites?

First of all - read the first post in this thread....all the packages except the first EXCLUDE CONTENT (which is where the language files are). You need to download a package that has the content files before you can use the latest version to upgrade it.

Is there a patch for this yet? I've found a patch on another forum but I get an port error when I run the autostart file.
