I have been unable to effectivly use the search function for my custom POI's that I am loading. I am not sure if it is an issue with the software or the fact that that I am now loading over 7000 geocaches in the GPS each time I got out on a caching run...

Unfortunately it's a software issue and was discovered since version 8.3.2.80621, I think.

It's already contained in 8.3.2.79297 - read this.

Just one question, IGO 8.3 manages the TMC ?

I have a MIO MOOV device with an internal TMC antenn but IGO8 doesn't find the port, protocol and baud transfer

Why ?

Is it a bad line in sys.txt ???

2 things.... first make sure you only have the one license that came with the June 8th version in the license folder.... second, open your sys.txt and delete these lines:

[folders]
app="%SDCARD%/iGO8"

They aren't needed and it could be you have your Igo8 set up differently.


Also... thanks again to JM... I barely had a chance to break in the May28th version (which ran very nice on my Mio's). I hated to let it go so quickly, but I am a sucker for newer . Keep up the great work.

I only have one license (the one came with it) and the [folders] app="%SDCARD%/iGO8" is deleted but it is same error.
