Your english is better than mine :D

Well, this is getting nasty. Thank you so much for that hint regarding EULA, that is solved now. But as one problem is solved, another one comes up - that sucker won't save routes. Deleting the Save-Folder doesn't help. It doesnt even keep the loaded route when I exit and restart. As far as I remember from my old IGO version it creates a "route dat" somewhere in "documents and settings" or "application data" on the device. Not so here. What's wrong?

I'm starting to think I'll keep my 8.0 and try to update the maps for it. That might be easier.

For SHG-I900 Omnia iGO 8.3.2.xxxxx:

Download the latest iGO8.
Copy the content to your My Storage into a folder called: iGO8
Delete the branding.zip and data.zip from the folder. Delete the sys.txt and licence folder too.
If there is a save folder under the iGO8 folder delete it!
Copy the content of the zip (from the link) into your iGO8 folder on your My Storage. (there is a device.nng in the licence folder you can delete it..)
Copy the content files you want from earlier versions or download what you want.

Start application with iGO8.exe (There is no iGO8? Rename the application.dat to iGO8.exe)

I'm not sure, but..
edit your sys.txt and put these into it:

[folders]
app="My Storage\iGO8"

Of course change the My Storage to your path for expale SD Card, sdmmc, resident falsh, etc.
Your iGO is istalled or running without install (copy and run the iGO8.exe)?

I used an installer, previously renaming igo exe to application.dat on card. The Path is there on sys.txt, it writes a proper save-folder and stores recent settings on it, it just won't keep my route...

The problem that i face is that everytime i restart the software, it looses link with the GPS. I have to go to setting and do an autodetect of the GPS and after that everything works fine. Any idea what can be causing this and how can it be fixed. Thanks

iGO and Bluetooth GPS.. for some devices a bad combination!

there is a lot of work to do in their software with bluetooth connectivity :?

I have no idea..
for a PDA:
You can try this if you have a perfect working 8.0
Install a 8.0 version (a perfect version)
After installed don't start it. (Or delete the save folder)
Overwrite the 8.0's data.zip and barnding.zip files from the 8.3.2 version.
On your PDA in the Program files/iGO8 folder overwrite the iGO8.exe with the one from the the 8.3.2.
Change the licence too, only use the generic one, after try to start it.

Thank you so much for your help. I will try what you've advised later tonight I'm surprised there are no more differences between 8.0 and 8.3. I will try several versions on several sd-cards, since I've got me the new 8.0 maps, too.

Something has to work out right!

But now I have to leave for work.

Thanks again,

With starting a search manually too?
Have you tried to add the parameters of your gps in the sys.txt?
Foe exapmle:

[gps]
port=3
baud=4800
source="nmea"
disable_advanced=0

It's device specific.
Sorry for my english.

Does anybody knows why, keeping volume zero in Igo, affects also my mobile device?
I means, after opening Igo (silenced) and the closing, the volume of my PDA is 0.... if I don't pay attention I am going to miss calls...
Anybody knows how to solve this issue? (IGO8.3.2.83)
Thanks!

I don't know, but maybe a workaround could be an "empty" voice for IGO, so volume could stay on.
