Sorry if I'm asking a silly question that has been answered before. Oh and I have unchecked the automatic overview option in the settings panel....Guess I should have followed the thread more closely.... :)

Try this setting: edit the sys.txt and put this into it.

[roundaboutcam]
enabled=0
centery=20

Thanks for the response, I think that there is no way I could have figured that out for myself! :)

Have you got a working version of 8.3 iGO?
If you have you can use it only changing the igo8.exe
Or write me the exact type of your device and I will ask it from my "friends".
Sorry for my english..

not sure what you mean, im running the Jun 8 update thats posted here.

I am using an HTC Touch

The advice was to softreset the device twice and after start iGO.
The Google map uses the gps after close the application so the igO can't recognize the gps.
Delete the GPS settings from the sys.txt and try to search manually in the iGO.
And HTC Touch what? 3G, Diamond, Viva, Pro?
You can add this to the sys.txt

[device]
type="HTC Touch 3G T3232"

or "HTC Touch Diamond P3700", "HTC Touch HD T8282", "HTC Touch Pro T7272", "HTC Touch Viva T2223"
(and use the latest data.zip)

I have just the HTC Touch CDMA for sprint.

Google Maps says Port 0 Baud 4800. I set that in Igo and it didnt work.

Any other ideas?

I found this:

Apps like iGO 8 need to be primed with a program like AstroGPSLauncher though.
And a link for it:

Samsung Omnia with original car charger, does not charge while IGO is running. I have 8.3.2.93112 version.

Keep the phone close to a ventilated area. Omnia is warming up during navigation and the charger stops working. All Omnia users (myself used to) have the same problem.

By the way, what skin y'all you using? I know it's heavily depended on personal taste, still i was wondering if you guys have any suggestion and possibly a download link for it... I would like a skin with easy visibility and very intuitive..

thanks..

At the beginning, only one map and then slowly add one map.
From the beginning emulator works very slowly.
Later, it's OK
