delete the save folder and disable TMC in sys.txt. otherwise you can try what hans.der.hansen proposed on post 522 if you need TMC.

Hi guys.

I found solution for my GPS signal problem.
Seems that this version of Igo don't keep GPS signal active (problem with internal GPS). You must run some another application in background, google maps,holdux,... to keep GPS signal active all the time.

But the easiest way is this:

Thanks for help

I'm running IGO8.3.1.57021 on Glofiish X800, when I close the program at the upper line remains strip from closed iGO instead of upper Windows Mobile line with Start button, battery status etc. On the other side when at first I minimize iGO only to the bottom line, then I open it again and close it, everything is ok.
Where could be a problem? Thanks for advance.

Temporary solution to this problem.
Before the close minimize, maximize then again, then closed.

It will still leave the traybar enabled, even without any icon in it.

Hi All,
I just got a new Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 (800x480). But IGO8 doesn't seem to appreciate this screen resolution.
Could someone tell me what IGO8 version I have to use or what skin, or what I have to do to get it working on this device ?
Many thanks for helping.

Can't even find a skin for 640*480, let alone 800*480.

Create a shortcut to the iGO8.exe inside \Windows\Start Menu\ (or a child folder thereof).
After that you can select iGO8 in "Programs" tab.

Hi:
Sorry if this has been asked. I have used the search feature, but can't find anything related. It seems to me that this was already asked, but I just can't find it, and it has been a while since I read this whole thread.
When I run iGo, I get a constant ticking sound, unless I set it to use device backlight settings, which causes it to turn off after a little while. This happened to me with a previous version of iGo, and a fellow member here was kind enough to write a Mortscript to keep iGo awake. Anyway, the script will not work with this new version of iGo. Does anyone have any suggestion.
I would really appreciate the help.
Thanks so much!

EDIT: Please disregard this post. Issue solved, by editing sys.txt file.

If you have WM6.1 and are using AGPS, then that's the problem you're facing.
In this situation, IGO8 doesn't retain the "use GPS" checkmark in the GPS settings screen.
Therefore, use Kaisertweak or Schaps Advanced Configuration to disable AGPS.

I am using WM6.1 and AGPS, and I don't have any problem (eten x800). Don't use the GPS applet in system settings. Use the real GPS port, and you will not have any problem. (For eten user, either port 4 (GPS0 or port 7 (AGPS).)
