This is written there in bold that data(.zip) file packed with this release supports ONLY 320x240 and 480x272.
If you need other resolutions you have two possibilities: to wait untill JetMouse (or somebody ele here) will release a new one or to use any older. Please note also that using other data(.zip) you will loose an additional functionality (driver alarm) added with the latest release...

Just I have to disagree at this point with you and the thing is that I hardly dunno why. I explain my case;

I have been running all updates of the softwares published from JM and SR since I came across the data from the official softwares for PDAS (8.3.2. 64029) and never had any problem nor issue when running the program, using this data with PDA and PDA/PNA versions.
Even with this version 8.3.4. 102680 everything works great with skins that does not contain the ending extension _da.
And the most interesting and curious of all that, I tried to rename the ui_igo8 file of my old datazip into ui_igo8_da and what was my surprise that igo did not recognize the function "driver alerts" and however without touching anything of the datazip it does.

Does anyone understand anything or am I getting crazy or something ?? :shock: !

...disagree with what?

Regarding your observations - you can get driver alerts but this is not so easy as you suppose.
Besides of renaming of entire directory to (ui_igo8)_da you have to rewrite few scripts in directory 'ui': main.ui, navigatemap_xx.ui and setting_xx.ui. Other scripts are not altered since the last revision.

As I do not care on driver alert feature - I use an older data.zip.
The latest JM's release runs flawlessly on my TP2 with 480x800 resolution & DIMKA v1.25 480x800 skin.

Well...
So why can not you rewrite these scripts by yourself?
This is not a complicated job (however it requires a lot of time for testing...)
And do not forget to publish them then ;-)

My 8.3.4.102680 quite often runs out of memory on Mio C710. I have TTS installed. It will run out of memory in about an hour. It did not happen in the previous release.

Is there any setting that I can adjust?

Thanks!

I repeat you again,
I am not going to sit on that with you. And I am not going to discuss if I have to add or rename anything or nothing in my datazip, the only thing I tell you about is that with the newest version it appears to me the option "driver alerts" in my skin for default without changing anything my datazip at all (from 8.3.2. 64029).
However, if I rename whatever the file is, I loose this configuration.
So this item is false, tested by myself:
"Please note also that using other data(.zip) you will loose an additional functionality (driver alarm) added with the latest release..."

The latest JM's release runs flawlessly on my TP2 with 480x800 resolution & DIMKA v1.25 480x800 skin.[/quote]
So, would you help me what can I change in sys.txt to get working DIMKA v.1.25 HD 480x800 on my XPERIA X1 because the skin is hidden when I try to change skin?
Thank in advance!

On the route of SD-card create folder content with subfolder map (content\map), put your maps in folder map
add to sys.txt
[folders]
content="Storage Card(or the name of your SD Card)\content"

This is because of without explicit declaration of screen resolution, iGO8 runs in QVGA mode ;-)
For me it was enough to add the following lines to sys.txt:

[rawdisplay]
highres=0
screen_y=800
screen_x=480

Also, on some devices adding of

autoconfig=1
driver="gx"

to above section helps to get stable operation. But please try without them first.

As you see, I am using my tp2 in vertical position. If you prefer to have it horizontally - just replace x/y coordinates ;-)

Are you sure, you have got a full functionality or just a topic in a menu?
As of my experience, it is a must to rewrite scripts I mentioned to get it operational.

You are right, had only a topic with two options, but as you say I dunno care to "driver alerts" neither. I had this feature in the skin by default.
And I say "had" because now has disappeared again the option (all this is very strange).

EDIT:

My god !!
This feature returned back again just deleting SAVE folder, after that I restored my BACKUP folder (saved data configurations) and everything running like a charm again. In this feature I have two options to choose in the skin by default:

Sound driving alert (When approaching/simple/off)
Visual driving alert (ON/OFF)

All this without making any change to the data.
