SDHC driver factory installed on P360/560 with WM6. Anything else idea?

As i know, Mio P360/560 supports more than 4gb SD card and thay do not need SHDC drivers.

If you have P350/550 with SDHC drivers, Igo will not work.

If you uninstall SDHC - works normaly

The program installs, but when starting, hangs on the "Initializing warning data" and all I can do is reset the device, delete the speedmaps file and then it works fine..
Does anyone know of a solution to this problem?
Thanks!

No problem installing on HTC Touch Pro (ROM 1.90 ITA off.)! I used the full version (1st page) together with the autorun version (17th page "*PANDA file). The only problem is that the speedcam selection is not always shown in the settings. I had tho switch from day light to night light and sometimes it happears the right menu. If selected than it works!

Tried switching between night and day mode 4 or 5 times and it still doesnt show 'enable speed cams' in the warning settings screen? Although when i select the ? that informs you what each selection does it tells you all about 'enable speed cam' function, so it should be there but isn't?

Try to swith when you've alreay selected a destination (during the trip). Select "always day light" and "always night light".

Add/Remove Programs, SDHC drivers uninstall.

Your 2GB card should work without drivers and igo will work now.

I have this version working now on the Touch HD with the original data.zip from this package, not the one for Omnia.
However TTS is not working.
Does anyone know, how to get TTS working with this version?

I found solution for my GPS signal problem.
Seems that this version of Igo don't keep GPS signal active (problem with internal GPS). You must run some another application in background, google maps,holdux,... to keep GPS signal active all the time.

But the easiest way is this:

Thanks for help

If you have WM6.1 and are using AGPS, then that's the problem you're facing.
In this situation, IGO8 doesn't retain the "use GPS" checkmark in the GPS settings screen.
Therefore, use Kaisertweak or Schaps Advanced Configuration to disable AGPS.

I have A-GPS disabled by default in my ROM.
There are a lot of treads on xda dev. site. about this that you must run some other app in background to keep GPS signal active.
Seems that this is problem with HTC devices with internal GPS.

booce wrote:Hi steevieboy4u, Glad you like my "UK Special" Igo, put quite a bit of time in on it :D I'm surprised that version's speedcams didn't work for you, as I've had no issues with them.
If I were you, I'd delete all the files in the speedcam directory, head over to the Speedcams and other files forum on this board and grab the newest "speedcam.txt" you can find. Drop that in to the speedcam dir then run Igo. It will take AGES to load up and will appear to stick on the "Init Warningn Data" message on the load screen. Leave it to do it's thing as at this point it is converting that text file in to its own speedcam database format. I have seen this take 30 minutes with a large speedcam.txt (>1MB) on slow devices so be patient. It should eventually start as normal, and the next time you launch it, it'll be back to normal speeds. You can delete the speedcam.txt after Igo has loaded and exited ok once.
Hope that does the trick for you.

asmd6230 your problem may be the DLL's you have. There is a thread in the Speedcams and Other files thread that has the correct dlls for WM2003, I would install those first. You may also want to rename or delete the btcoreif.dll file on your device's Windows directory. These files sometimes get version conflict and your device will restore the correct versions from ROM if you rename or delte the existing ones. Hope that helps.

I think i've sorted the speedcam problem on my device :)

The two files that were in the speedcam folder speedcam.spdb 287kb and SpeedcamUpdates.spud 0kb for some reason everytime i started Igo my device would delete the speedcam.spdb 287kb file??? So i deleted them both and placed the speedcams20081023 1,295kb text file in that i have tried with previous versions (previously my device would just sit there trying to initilize, waited over an hour one time before i had to reset my device) this time after 10 mins it went past this stage and now when i browse the maps etc i can see the speedcams!!! Beauty! I've not tried it whilst driving yet but i reckon its going to work.

What i have noticed though under the warnings menu i still have no options about showing speedcams etc like i used to have on previous versions? But who cares if they work anyway. Thanks 'Booce' for the tips ;-)

Hi steevieboy4u, Glad that did the trick for you. If you can see them on them map, it'll work when you're driving. As for the warnings, try the latest GJ skin as that seems to handle the extra speedcam options reasonably well ( I still can't get spoken speedcam warnings with that skin, but I'll figure it out).
