You need to have in sdcard directory iGO8,in igo8- content and in content - map.

I hope you be of assistance

Not work :( Appear lang error :(
Raffke wrote:This is not possible in R3 versions. R5 version seems to automatically merge the content folder with the one on SDCARD - but in R3 you have to keep everything in one CONTENT folder...

THX for the information :( ( I find this in other forum).

I dunno exactly how it works (sharing folders), but you can share the content of the DEM,BUILDING and MAP folders between Igo amigo and Igo8 just adding these lines into Amigo sys.txt file. By this way you avoid adding these folders into amigo's directory. Tested and working:

[folders]
maps="Internal Storage (or whatever)\IGO8\content\map"
buildings="Internal Storage (or whatever)\IGO8\content\building"
dem="Internal Storage (or whatever)\IGO8\content\dem"

Unfortunately this never worked for iGO8 (R1 and R3)...

In all last versions of iGO i've tested, the automatic geocoding of contacts (from Outlook) did not worked... :-(

I've tested the instructions to extract contacts from Outlook and convert them in iGO files to be able to use them in, but that's not pratical when you must regulary modify some entries (adresses, phone number, ...)

So, does geocoding work in this full pack version ?
And if not, would somebody have a solution?

Thanks in advance for your answers.

PS: excuse me for my bad english...

No, this currently only works in
  • all PDA releases (without TTS)
  • 8.3.2.90500 PNA release (with TTS)

Thanks Raffke :wink:
So, the best choice i can make is to install the 8.3.2.90500 version and eventually replace last map... if i want to conserve TTS. Will it work on my pda phone (touch diamond) ?

Possibly dumb question, but do you have all the language files in the right folder? Those files don't come with the igo package, you need to download them separately....

The bottom right hand side is "tools" if you tap that the next groups of buttons will contain a language button. From there you can choose the language you desire.
