Is there a ui_igo8_da with 480*234 resolution or can anyone please convert one for this resolution!

The default August data.zip uses ui_igo8_da in data.zip. You have two choices.

1. Find a skin written for the new version eg. the diMkaMegaduckDA skin
2. Replace the data.zip with the data.zip v10b. (This will work but loses any new functionality eg. driver alerts)

got it to work with the skin, but couple of questions

1. on the skin on the top it shows the destination address not the next turn. how can I change that
2. what is the driver alert??

1. In the settings change the next street field to "next street".
2. Driver alerts are to show regualtory, informative signs etc at preset differences. But the license to enable them is not released yet and the maps may need to be updated....

Hi, thanks for reply.I found the save folder, but couldn't delete, got error.Inside it had 97 sub folders, and each of them had gibberish, that didn't let me delete.
So I reformatted card, it does the same.

Unfortunately this never worked for iGO8 (R1 and R3)...

Fortunately it does, but I explained awfully myself. You dunno have to add the path of your device in this headland ..\.. but exactly by the way I write it here (suppose it works with other folders too). Tested in HTC & OMNIA....

Hi.Also, the program itself didn't created Save folder, I did it on PC, but still, it will say it saved user setting, but when I leave the iGO and go back, it stops on the language screen, I have to specify the voice and then it goes to the usual screen and I have to enter my preferences again; when I try to restore previous settings, it say failed to restore database.
What do I miss?

I use everyday the Gurjon skin.
I saw a GJ6.10p_da_Gold_Edition in 480x272
I try with iGoSkinWizard_0.94b to change it in 320x240 but it didn't work well.
Is it possible that this can be done in a good way?

Hi. Impossible to use this version in a HTC Polaris device... And when I use the old version (97313) it's impossible to choose an adress because a letter is allready written and it's impossible to replace it !
Any solution for this ?

so we should be able to continue using data.zip v10b if we're using dimkaspecter DA 1.1.25a? i've had to switch to the default data.zip that came with the august files because nothing worked for me with the 10b data.zip + 1.1.25DA.... i figured it'd make sense if just the skin plus the 10b data.zip should work fine as long as the script has all of the ui_igo8_da files in it, but there's still stuff missing...

ideas? will ALL of the proprietary stuff from that august data.zip be integrated into the DA script someday so we can use the 10b zip? it contains a LOT of useful stuff that the tiny august version does not..

Yes, you will need the original _da ui scripting.
