you can create a ui_igo8_da folder in IGO root diectory and drop a 800x480 bitmap called loading.bmp into it.
This would be used as loading screen.

Version 8.3.4.102680 is working fine on my MIO C520, but
when are read on some TMC events and I take off MIO from TMC holder, iGO8 has a lot of slowly reactions, f.e. when I click on some buttons.
After restart iGO8 is everything OK, till read up TMC events again.
It happened each time when I take off MIO from TMC holder, only. When MIO is still in the TMC holder, button´s reactions are good.
Did some register this problem too ?

here you go, those settings was what made my Igo work on my device, the rest are standard.
P.S. don't forget to use a DATA.zip file that supports that resolution , e.g. v10b
Code: Select all[interface]
resolution_dir="400_234"
screen_x=400
screen_y=234

[rawdisplay]
screen_x=800
screen_y=480

Correct is:

[interface]
resolution_dir="400_240"
screen_x=400
screen_y=240

[rawdisplay]
screen_x=800
screen_y=480

Uffff, :shock: I just dunno remember, although these days I am not travelling too much far away, I will deal with a long route using Truck parameters to see if it works or not.

I agree with you :lol: :lol: :lol: , I told him the commands and you made it him to run.
Nice work. Most of times some entries of the sys.txt file are its fault...

Hi tweakradje and GJM,

Start to compare truck routing in IGO with Copilot using WM6 EMULATOR
START POINT:35, Regensburger Strasse, PASSAU 94036
END POINT:32, Ballastbrucke, FLENSBURG 24937
IGO:
NV Germany 090629
without histspeed
truck_profile.ini:
length=16
width=2.6
height=4.5
weight=20000
maxspeed=90
actualweight=20000
axles=4
trailers=1
icon=0
hazard=-1
vtr=1

Vechicle = TRUCK
1. ROUTE INFO:
975km, 10:22, HIGHWAY and PERMIT
Avoiding PERMIT ROAD
ITINERARY - MODE to Detailed Instructions - scroll to SPECIAL PERMIT REQUIRED - select it - Avoid - ROAD.
2. ROUTE INFO:
978km, 10:25, HIGHWAY

ITINERARY - MODE - ROAD LIST or ITINERARY

Copilot 7.8.0.162 - Truck
Data(MAP):TA.EU.0804.v7.1.12.4.6_TL
Routing Profile
Vechile=Truck
Vechicle restriction
length=16
width=2.6
height=4.5
weight=20000
Road Preference
Motorways = 90km/h
Dual Carriageways = 80km/h
Primary Roads = 70km/h
Secondary Roads = 60km/h
Local Streets = 50km/h

After ROUTE CALCULATION:
983km, 10:59

Preview - TURN MAPS or ITENERARY

Conclusion - IDENTICAL 99,99%

RentiIT

After changing IGO map in TA 090722
ROUTE INFO
977km, 10:42, HIGHWAY but route = 1. ROUTE with NV maps PERMIT and HIGHWAY.

Conclusion - TRUCK work:
- with NAVTEQ maps - route (with avoid), time, distance
- with TELEATLAS maps - time, distance

Thanks, mate. This helped me out with running the newest version on P750 (VGA, portrait).
I only have adjusted the parameters to their correct values:
Code: Select all[interface]
resolution_dir="240_320"
screen_x=240
screen_y=320

[rawdisplay]
screen_x=480
screen_y=640

Can you explain me best the part
Avoiding PERMIT ROAD
ITINERARY - MODE to Detailed Instructions - scroll to SPECIAL PERMIT REQUIRED - select it - Avoid - ROAD.
I don't understand where find 'SPECIAL PERMIT REQUIRED - select it' and this 'Avoid - ROAD'. Thanks and regards.
