I've fixed a little bit DATA.ZIP with two res. 320x240 and 480x272
TRUCK car selection added.
also Truck car description into SAVE folder added. ( \save\TRUCK_PROFILES.INI )

I've tried 4 different skins Dimka & Kikker with the "ui_igo8_da" all with the same message. also tried 2 different units. Exactly the same

Try this.
Just add the voice, lang, maps and other content. Change the resolution in sys.txt and add the warning voices into Audio folder.

I installed the new v8.3.4.117940 to my ASUS A632N PDA. But it doesn't work because the data.zip doesn't contain 240x320 resolution. After I had changed the screen orientation to landscape (320x240) it ran correctly. But I would like to use it in 240x320, so I copied the 240x320 folder from the data.zip of 8.3.4.102680 to the data.zip of new version.
I strated the software, then I got an other error message: FFUIERROR: Unknown layer referenced Identifier=[ui_DriverAlertPic]

What is the problem? Any suggestions?

I'm using data.zip from the previous version v8.3.4.102680 (Aug 13 2009), and everything works.

Because the original data.zip files of both versions (117940 and 102680) are the same, simply replace the new data.zip completly with the data.zip from your previous working version.

You do not forget to rename data.zip & branding.zip
When using any skin, it is necessary to rename the skin folder ui_igo8 to ui_igo8_da .

It seems this release have some bugs...
Autosearch for GPS and TMC devices is not working on my Becker z103. Setting it manually works OK.
Autosearch worked OK in previous version.

btw. I'm using newer gpstmc.dll from GoPal 5. The problem I described happens on both gpstmc.dll (original and GoPal one)

Hi GJ,

I just saw your creation now and I was wondering if you could please make one loading screen for 480*234 resolution! That would be awesome. Thank you and Have a great New Year 2010.

Standby resume bug is still present on my Becker z103.
After resuming from standby, it comes to one short screen blackout (one second long).
After that, it resumes the application, but painfully slowed down (reaction time to the screen touch is longer than a minute).

driver alerts with dimka skin 1.1.27b: settings not possible and driver alerts on navteq maps not visible.
no driver alert problem with originial igo skin

I confirm any DA with Dimka 1.1.27
