if i remember correctly this sets the value in the menu to follow the actuall location with a dot on the map

i think this will pop up poi info when you are browsing a map - for example, if you click on the map in plan mode, any poi info for the area you click will be displayed. You can adjust this from the menu as well

not sure... haven't seen that one before

stop_rotate_on_map_move="0"
when you stop, the map should not rotate. I have tried this with mixed results.

Igo is an excellent software.
Still there are so many unclear parameters hidden inside!

The "highres=1" should be used if you have the display resolution for example 800×480 but you want to use any skin with 400×240 resolution only. Each pixel is transformed to a 2×2 square.
The default value is 0. Then the skin is used "as is" in the native resolution.

i copied the latest version v8.3.4.117940 (Nov 3 2009) to my pda (640x480 resolution).
It works but i have only landscape view.
What shoud i change to have vertical view?

If go to settings -> device -> screen orientation and change there to veritcal, application will restart but it's still landscape (horizontal)
Any idea?

ich benutze beide Version - bei beiden Versionen habe ich das Problem, das die Geschwindigkeitsanzeige von 10 - 90 auf dem Display meines Navi angezeigt
wird aber ab ab 100 Km/h erscheint auf dem Display nur 0 - die Geschwindigkeit ab 100 Km/h wird mit 0 angezeigt. Ich habe alle Skins ausprobiert - konnte
leider keine Lösung finden - ich vermute das dieses Problem mit dem exe zu tun hat - Ich bin LKW Fahrer - die Geschwindigkeitsanzeige auf dem
Navi-Display ist für mich sehr wichtig.Kannst Du mir vielleicht weiterhelfen oder eine Lösung
vorschlagen ??

Versuche bitte auf Englisch zu schreiben, notfalls mit Google Translate!

Versuche mal, komplett ohne ein Skin zu starten, den SAVE Ordner zu löschen/umzubenennen und schaue dann, ob die Geschwindigkeit richtig angezeigt wird.
Auch wenn ich noch nie real mit der 8.3.4 gefahren bin, scheinst Du der einzige mit diesem Problem zu sein...

Afaik the v8.3.4.xxxxx is a PNA version and with PNA versions this function is not possible.
You have to use a v8.3.2.xxxxx PDA version for contact reading and navigation.
