You sure know we still struggle to enable TTS(Text-To-Speech) voices on R3 PDA version. They work fine on all PNA releases but not on PDA versions... Recently I was browsing the OCN8 website (rebranded iGO8 for North America) and look what i found:

As for the software version...isn't that the same what we are using ??? If so, if they are using the same executable (which I strongly believe they are) is it our license limitation or missing loquendo DLL's that is causing TTS to cease working with all R3 PDA versions ? Well, I could surely find that out, if I could put my hands on the latest OCN83 release.

So bottom line is, anyone, who can get the OCN83 package, please PM me. I don't need the content folder, only the application files and license (as usual)

this info is being known for some months and is located on my build info list, since I heard about this release:

I assume, another license is needed, since there are already TTS dlls for PNA releases, which seem to not be used by this PDA release...
BTW: As we already have the 8.3.2.90500 with (almost?) all PDA features plus TTS, so for me there's no need to get another specialized PDA version with TTS.

Does anyone know why the TTS not working after copy the wh Anyole iGo8 folder from HTC-Diamond to HTC-HD2 ? the TTS is working fine in HTC-Diamond. I only change the folderlocation in SYS.txt file. Any idea ?

Hi JetMouse, the version iGO 8.3.2.119952 is mine and i have all files. Please contact me per PM. I can give you all other files you need for cracking. Please don't make it public, because the license is registred by my self.

I have tested the version, it supports TTS and TMC Pro indeed. Its works with standard data and branding.zip and works with DriverAlerts skins and data, branding.

Hi all,

after browsing several hours through all posts in this forum, using the search engine like hell, I am not moving forward with my new HTC (Leo) HD2.

Here is what is currently running:
Nav n Go iGo 8 - 8.3.2.93112 (PDA)

1 . The software works fine but I am not able to implement TTS. What do I have to do? Does anybody use this version with TTS working well?

TTS is now working on my HTC HD2

2. I tried to install some skins. I copied them into the folder "skin" (the ZIP file). But in the settings of my phone the desing button is disabled (grey).

I would be very thanksful if somebody can give me some advise. Thanks!
