I have a question about this app. I'm totally a noob to GPS and my phone (which is Tmobile Touch Pro2), too.
Do we need data connection from Tmobile for this app running? I don't want my bill pile up because I don't have data plan. When I run this app, I see Tmobile Data connection is established. I changed the APN to epc.tmobile().com but still seeing that it runs throught 3G connection (T-mobile Data).

No, iGO8 is designed to work/run independent of a data connection. In fact, a data connection is not needed at all.

1. Download and unrar the content of the archive to ROOT of your SD Card.
2. Insert the SD Card into your device, iGO autorun should pop-up. Follow the onscreen installation instructions.

NOTE: Users having trouble with Autorun on their devices, remove 2577 folder and rename application.dat to iGO8.exe. Then run iGO8 as usual, either directly from File Explorer, or create a shortcut to Programs menu using i.e. Total Commander CE
