My TTS works fine with Nav N Go iGO 8 R3 series - v8.3.4.117940 (Nov 3 2009) but not with this newest PDA version.

No DriverAlerts in "iGO8_PDA_R1_Patch_R3_8.3.2.124260"
Tested in simulation with modified GJ6.14.1p_da (renamed ui_igo8_da to ui_igo8 in zip).
TMCPro - not tested.

if anyone using the 124xxx release on a HTC phone spots the behaviour of generating Aaaaa characters in the input fields for city etc.:

add

[power]
backlight_events = 3

to your sys.txt (in the device file inside the data.zip they changed this to 1,3,5,7 or so and this generates unwanted key events...)

Yeah seriously I love the PDA version of Igo8 because of the contacts thing but I miss TTS way more.
