Sounds like you need to change the license file.

Does anybody knows what sys.txt entry I have to place in order to see always the horizont while navigating.

I'm using landscape mode with 800x480 and each time after smartzoom or going to menu I have to use the up arrow in the zoom mode to change the horizontal alignment in the 3d view to see the horizont again.

Any clue for this?

Replace the license file with one of version v8.3.1.54384 (Sep 3 2008) from here.

Who can me help? I have a little problem with the pda-version (with loox n560 VGA).
My programm starts with the blue buildings and no with the startscreen with NAV N GO and the number of version. When I change my sys.txt with
[project]
name="igo8_pda"
the programm don´t start and the error is
"Failed to open file:
igo\320_240\loading.bmp
exiting application"
The next question: when the startscreen ok, is it possible to get updates?

Not a dumb question at all.
You need to install Schaps Advanced Config (look it up in XDA, current version is 3.3).
You'll find many settings there, one of them is turning on/off the AGPS.

Don't forget to check compatibility with your device prior to installation.

If you have a Kaiser/Tilt, you can also install KaiserTweak, where you'll be able to see the recommended settings. Write them down, uninstall it, then install the Schaps util and apply the same settings there.

KML format and selected it in the poi config in Igo (distance and icon) but it
dont show it on map.

i tried also to add this in my sys :
enable_pois_before_080217=1
multipoi=1

but dont helped some idea?

Searching the iGO8 v8.3.2.64873 thread for "kml", had found the following post (didn't test it myself):

I've managed to fix the "data_8.3.2_fixed_v6" issue with poi icons not showing when using branding.zip in conjunction with customized .kml poi (stored under userdata). Here's the fixed version of the file, just download and rename to data.zip.

Oh, yes, almost forgot: this is the trimmed version I use for 400x240 & 800x480. If you use other resolutions, just unzip & copy the file "multipoi.icon" (ui_igo/icons/poi) from my file to your original data.zip.

For those not using the posted modified file, pls ensure you make the following change: if your current data.zip has a file called "kmlpoi.icon" (ui_igo8/icons/poi), you may need to delete it in order for the "multipoi.icon" to work.
