Hi All have installed on my Imate pda-n wm5 (mem card) but when I run it starts up b ut closes to today screen a second or two later not getting past start screen..But then I have to use a task manager to close it down completely as it's running in the background... and ideas???

You need a different license file. I used the one from my iGO 8.0.0.55127 PDA version, but its possible there are others that will also work.

v8.3.1 working perfectly but every 8.3.2 i tried have that problem only when navigating. In fly mode - everything seems ok?!

Either in navigation mode and in fly mode it seems ok.
Did you made some changes to sys.txt?

No, i did not.

I think you have same issue.

Let me define: v8.3.2 when navigating, map iz drawing every 1-2sec (slow) but in v8.3.1 map i drawing instantly - very fast.

Pleas try compare 8.3.1 and 8.3.2 and you will get what i ment.

I couldn't find the better site I was looking for, but you can use this site: http://www.poieditor.com.

iGO8 supports custom pois in .upoi and .kml format (as far as I know).

Put your files in: igo8/content/userdata/poi.


If someone knows better/more , please correct me.

Need Some Help here Guys,
I have installed this version on my ASUS A636 (WM5).
But it can NOT find the GPS Receiver !!!
Do i need to add something to my sys.txt ?
Do i need a different data.zip ?
What seems to be the problem ?





COM AND BAUD ARE OK.

PLEASE HELP......

If it is blinking it means it is searching for gps, at least it does for me. It takes some time to get a gps connection (+/- 10 min for me (slow build in gps)).
