Are people, and specially Touch HD user, unable to read forums neither using "search for;" function ???

You could also just change the next street name bigger. Me I left the current street font size same and made the next street name bigger and color yellow so its easier to read. I got a Diamond the screen is really so small...but I love it.

How did you do that.

I mean change the next street name size without altering the current street name font?

- In template_???_???.ui (where ???_??? is your screen resolution) copy the line <TEMPLATE txt_map...................................................................

Yes I just tested it, it will NOT work with the PDA version 8.3.2.64029 (Nov 7 2008), I will remove the text from the main post. It's rather useless as well since that version already has all PDA resolutions included.

Just stick to 8.3.2.64873 (Nov 13 2008), it's the best working version anyway, both PDA and PNA can use this version.

I need some help please... I got igo8 working smooth on my eten m800(VGA device) with a resolution of 240x320 (stretched) everithing is working just fine the only thing that bothers me is when I zoom out in 3d , the white roads are fading and instead of seeing solid white roads I see only white lines in distance, but near the camera the roads are solid white. How can I make them to be solid even in distance like there are when I zoom in. ?!Thanx. Sorry for my bad english.

And I have an idea, what if we would make a resolution like 300x400 or better 330x440(portrait) for vga devices. This resolution, scaled in vga will be more clear than 240x320 and it will take less resources than 480x640.Because in vga mode, everything is clear but framerate is slow, In 240x320 resolution it runs very smooth but the clarity it`s kind of blurry. So that way we could use our vga devices at a better resolution with a better performance. Can that be done ?! What tools do I need for converting the images to that resolution ?!

IGO doesn't work on my HTC Touc HD(aka Blackstone).
I've downloaded the Nav N Go iGO 8 v8.3.2.64873, Data.zip v9c & Branding.zip. Replace the original files. and copy all the folder on my SD Card.
I tried different version of sys.txt

Same thing happens to me .. splash screen, i can see INIT API on the right lower corner and then it exits to explorer.

Hi! I put my igo on SD Card.With C710 if i turn of the mio from hard button en again puting on gives this error message:

Aplication IGO8.exe has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down.And bla bla...

Is this first start or iGO has already installed itself?

If iGO is already installed, the most likely reason is, there is a wrong entry in [driver] section in sys.txt file.
Try to comment all lines there by putting ; (semicolon) in the very beginning of each or even delete them.
Second possible issue could be related to power settings in section [power]; same solution as above.

Please take care to modify the right file - there could be two; one on SD card, second on your device; depending on how have you installed the program.

I didn't install it. I run directly from IGO8.exe . All the files in the SD Card in the IGO8 folder. I press on/off button and shut down without problem.But if i turn my mio again ON , error message comes(above).What can i add in the sys.txt to let it work without this problem. What about [driver] and [power].I dont have that sections in the sys.txt .This is only the problem.The rest works good.If i can solve this problem, i will be very happy .

I apologize for sounding so naive, but i installed iGO 8.3.2.64873 on my 640x480 touch pro last week using the included data.zip and branding.zip included in JetMouse's original thread. But I was always curious about these new data.zip and branding.zip files. So I overwrite my original files with these files in my storage card (did not touch my sys.txt) and fire it up... everything works good except the startup screen is a little off... no big deal... going through the menus and doing a simulation route... everything looks the same as my old data.zip and branding.zip in portrait and landscape. So i ask, and again I apologize but, what was i supposed to notice that was different?

But when I try to change from landscape to portrait in UI, Igo restarts in landscape again. I also tried with sys.txt without any resolution entries (the default one or the one posted by LZF), but then it doesn't start up at all.

Could someone please explain if changing is really possible from within the UI on Touch HD and please state what SHOULD and SHOULD NOT be in sys.txt for this to work. I'm using iGO 8.3.2.64873, the newest branding file and data v9b.
