Ylian wrote:Hi. Just wanted to report a small bug in "navigatemap_480_234.ui" of Data.zip v9c:

Code: Select all; ------------OFF_ROUTE

   <SPRITE sprTurnRestriction x=0 y=83 z=10 bmp="$turnrestrictions.spr" phasemodel="navigation.turn_restriction_icon" visiblemodel="navigation.turn_restriction_icon.valid&!ui.vRouteCalculation&navigation.car_pos_valid&route.vehicle_type!=5">

You have to change the X position to 0 and W value to 45 on the first line and change X position on the second line to 50. With the original values, you get the speed in the middle of the map. A picture of the bug can be found at:

Thanks,

Fix added to main post, it was occurring in both 480x234 and 400x234. Strange no one else noticed it before ;)

So there's not a single fix for the parking lot / off road bug? This makes the application pretty much useless. :?

Although I agree with others, that it seems to be a map problem, kamoteka reported there are no errors with the Data.zip I posted HERE...

I tried the Becker version with Raffke's data file and was able to reproduce the parking lot bug again. :(

Hey guys, I downloaded the v8.3.2.79297 folder and copied it to my device and downloaded all the other bits, the map, 3d buildings, voice, lang and poi. I also modified the sys.txt file to reflect the location of the igo8 folder. Now when I launch the program it crashes with a fatal error message. When I looked at the crash log file I found this error "IGO8.map not found". Please help

I cracked the Swiss SC-lock....

http://rapidshare.com/files/209009824/londone.txt

rename after DL to iGO8.exe

or with inStall routine...rename to *.zip, then overwrite the exe-file after installation

Cheers from Switzerland

In the file navigatemap_480_272.ui, replace the according lines with these. You'll gett bigger fonts not only there:

In Switzerland, Germany and Austria the use of SpeedCamera(SC) detectors are forbidden.
iGo has disabled speed-camera warnings if GPS location is in one of these countries(reffered as SC-lock).
