My GPS is a Myguide4200 (64MoRAM) with Myguide 6.1. I try to use iGO8 8.3.2.64873, without particular skins, on a "cartesd2go x150".
My problem is, probably, the "sys.txt." Indeed, in an uncertain way the screen jams on road or out road. Often it is necessary to make a reset, to reformat and to reload the sd to start again.

I guess you are experiencing THIS problem.

Currently, no solution is found.

LZF you seem to be an authority on Igo8 i have placed a request in the requests section concerning Igo8 and the Touch 3G/Jade,i cant get it to work it just brings up the loading screen then as it puts "loading.ini" up it crashes and remains running in the background until i soft reset,i looked through the content folder in the data zip and my device seems to be missing is this the problem?

Where would i get the ini file to support my device ?

Thanks djp76

grijamor wrote:So if you want street name on baloon text you wiil have to put this into your datazip or sys.txt;

disable_roadsign_navigation_mode=0

and this in order to get more or less names of streets (up 20 value more streets but low size, less 20 value less streets but high size of the font)

roadsign_lines_per_screen=20

add this in your sys.txt too if you don´t have it;

rotated_ roadsigns=1

Cheers............................

Sorry, can you please explain what and where exactly in data.zip should be modified in order to have the street names on baloons? I added in sys what you recommended but during navigation it shows me just one single name instead of three! Thats why Im thinking to make the changes into the data.zip. Thanks in advance!

If you put these sentences into your sys.txt is enough. This one;

disable_roadsign_navigation_mode=0

To see street names into a balloon text & this one;

roadsign_lines_per_screen=20

To see the font of street bigger or smaller, obviously if you increase the value a lot, less streets will be showed up into the screen.

Since the Touch 3G is standard QVGA, for now just add this to the SYS.TXT file to get it to work:

[interface]
width=240
height=320

[rawdisplay]
driver="GDI"
class="portrait"
screen_x=240
screen_y=320

or you could try this instead:

[device]
type="xxx"

where xxx is a device with a QVGA screen

Thanks. Did you get a chance to look at these errors? Here:
