try this in sys.txt:

show_tmc_eventlist=1

and in system.ini :

[tmc]
saved_config_available="1"
saved_config_classname="NMEA_GPSTMC_GNSPORT"
saved_config_portname="COM"
saved_config_port="1" (your port)
auto_tuning="1"
saved_last_frequency="898"

I would not add the TMC part to sys.txt as well. Should be sufficient to add it in system.ini ...
You just have to make sure that the port is correct.

The TMC icon now appears on the screen and if I tap on it, it opens the TMC event and settings window, the icon is however greyed out, so I think that is something to do with my traffic module, but I will keep on playing with it and if anything cahnges I will post it here.

Does anyone know if AMIGO supports both contacts import and TTS?

Please I need help because I want to use TTS Voices but I want something to put on my sys.txt so that the girl could say the directions but stop saying the road names, shes reades the road names every time.
I saw some were that all I need is just to put this on sys.txt:

[tts]
always_say_road_names=0
announce_street_name=0

or

[tts]
always_say_road_names=1
announce_street_name=1

But seems it doesn't work on Igo Amigo.

Hi can some please assist me i have an Omnia II the resolution is 800x480, Amigo doesnt load up, some one mentioned i need a HTC HD data.zip file, can some tell me where to get this file?

Ok i did a search for 800x480, there is only 1 thread, can i use the Igo8 8.3 data.zip file to work with Amigo version?

Amigo data.gro is not compatible with igo8.3 data.zip, even you convert it form zip to gro.
For a device with 800x480 resolution, you could use a data.gro which contain resolution 400x240. For this you should put the following lines in sys.txt :

[interface]
resolution_dir="400_240"

[rawdisplay]
screen_x=800
screen_y=480

just downloaded the maps from your link. However, i notice the map format is x.fbl, do i need to extrct it or just copy over to the amigo in Storage card?

i also just downloaded the latest amigo 8.4.2, there is no help file in it. shoudl i just copy evrything to the Storage program files and run the exe from there?
