I you want to use cars from Amigo instead of arrow in navigation, you should extract appropriate car.zip in igo8/gfx folder instead of data.zip/gfx to get it work with Amigo color scheme.

do you use new set of audio files specific for amigo ? and be sure that you have no previous sound from igo 8.3 because amigo search also in igo 8.xx content folder

Yes, I have the original files amigo and I have delete every file igo8.3 ... and in igo_easy.ini not know what to change to stop the breaks in the sound ... thanks for the help

GRO Converter



A little how-to:
- when you're converting GRO to ZIP, it does not matter what radio button (branding/data or languages) is selected, as the application will automatically detect the specific GRO file and will decrypt it accordingly.
however, when converting ZIP back to GRO make sure you select branding/data for branding.zip/data.zip and languages for lang_xxx.zip!

It works on my Becker 7934 but it has a lot of bugs.
The worst thing is the stuttering voices.I tried many different voices an settings in sys-file but the stuttering/broken voice still exists.I even changed languages,nothing helped.I hope that one of you guys has a solution.

There is no option to select which POI category can show on map.

No thats correct POI is not selectable, but if the map poi in the "content" folder is empty no
poi will be displayed. The same happens with BUILDINGS, DEM , MAPS . If anything is placed in these folders, you can check it by pressing in the menu : +more ..> settings ..> content.
If you filled in e.g. belgium.poi and you follow previous instructions a field "places" will be visible, else not..

and i did see that setting/content/places/Washington Premium 2008.10 it shows

But on the map I can not see any POI point, is that nomal?

Well, there is poi_visiblities.txt in Amigo/save. Maybe manually editing could do something about that.

Where should be the speedcamvoices cause i only see the cameras bud dont hear th warning. The warning is on in the menu.

I hate using quotes, but I would like to add to this.

I have been involved with gps's for around two years, and started with R66V7 and thought it was a great program.
I have been instructing new users to use R66 because it is simple and to the point.

I find this program will be a great replacement for R66 as a learning tool for new users, with not many buttons and things that the novice can stuff up.
My better half, the misses even can use this program. Why change a perfect, basic, colourful and easy to use program.

If something is wrong, it's generally a human error. My advice is to read the posts carefully, use the search feature and don't rush it. Take your time and Look, listen & learn.
