It seems to me that this software doesn't allow to plan a route by inserting gps coordinates, or am I wrong ?

Why change a perfect, basic, colourful and easy to use program.

I can imagine this to be a very good start for those without Sat Nav., maybe that's who Nav'N'Go are aiming at. My wife struggled a bit with iGO8 but soon found her way around Amigo.

I have everthing working on my Mio P350, with the odd 'tweak' from these pages.

Having said that, I'll probably stick with iGO8 at present as I miss the multi vias and optimisation.

When searching for a POI 'On Route', iGO8 would show all POI's on route first, with a green indicator, then yellow for slightly off route and red for some distance off route, when selected they would become POI's. Amigo puts them in order of distance so you have to scroll down to find the 'greens'. Once selected it becomes the destination and you lose the ETA/distance to your final destination.

Block Road used to be handy, although not essential, for when travelling up north and wanting to block the M6 Toll, I know I could set iGO8 to avoid Tolls but that would mess up my routing by avoiding the Dartford Toll as well.

one question: on the map view, you have the icon of the "hand", where you can adjust the screen.
I tilt the screen so I can see the sky and zoom in, but it doesn't hold that setting if you press the "back" button.
Is there a way to keep the adjustments or not? I have a mio c520.
Thanks for the help.

Just in case you have not received a reply:

Use the DJAmigo Skin on Page 20 Post 294 and add the Sys.txt file to the Amigo folder. In the Contents folder make a Skin folder and add the unrared skins. In Amigo navigate to More/Settings/Colours and Themes and select the DJAmigo skins under Menu Themes.

You may have to restart Amigo to get them to work.

If you still have problems, add the text on page 22 post 328 to the system.ini file. You can find this in the Save folder of the main Amigo folder.

Thanks this is working great on a looket g8, the only thing is I can't manage to change key bindings - I converted the data.gro to zip, edited the kiybind.txt file for my looket:

mainmenu = x24

then made the data.zip back into a gro file and put pack on my sd card, but alas I got no joy. Bummer man because this works fine doing it in the igo8 software - I wonder what this new software has different when using key bind addresses.

@mrdude
Have also a look in the device file of your PDA possibly there are also keyboard assignments.
If so then change it here.
