Ahhh, I think I have figured it out, you need to use the 'starting position' option and turn your GPS off!

I do hope that IGO get round to releasing a much better version of this for the desire soon, as this was always my favourite navigation tool on windows mobile and this version does seem to lack some pretty basic features and be quite slow on a 1ghz snapdragon device

lol, looks like I was too late with my post. Thanks patrickw :-)

Only issue I've had with that is when I turn GPS back on in the map screen it fails to get a lock and I need to restart the program to get a lock (however, the route that I planned in advance was in North America and I'm currently in the UK so I can understand the software getting a bit confused!)

Is anyone running this on Sony ericcson X10 - i want some feedback - any issues. Or even with other devices running Android 1.6

Also does this have all maps - particularly Aus/ NZ

sorry my friend, but full means with skins, poi's, etc also :). so, don't worry i'm using my brain...
and, as an addon, it is allready full :))). that's why i was asking.
