No , only map + POI.

It has less buildings (at least in one street that I checked) compared to the previous (June?) version.

Nope.
In the previous version, the street that I use for checking accuracy did not appear as a full street (because it's new, and therefore possibly appeared as an unpaved road), but the buildings in that street certainly appeared.
And now the street is fully shown on the map, but no buildings.

thanks so much big10! after singing the praises of 8.3.2 earlier, it turns out that it is buggy (at least for me), so i've had to go back to 8.0.0 (using 8.0.0.55127), so this map is very welcome!

After the Israel map became available for 8.3, I installed 8.3.2.64873 on my PDF (with JM's fixed data.zip that works at 240x320 resolution). At first, I was using it only locally for short trips, and everything worked fine. But recently, I used it for a slightly longer trip (about 30 km) into Tel Aviv, and when I got close to destination, I got an out of memory error. Trying to soft-reset the device and restart iGO just resulted in another out of memory error very shortly (still in Tel Aviv). This is reproducible every time I recreate this route, going in either direction (although the out of memory always happens within Tel Aviv, no matter which direction the route is planned - i.e. if it is planned FROM Tel Aviv, then the error happens relatively close to the beginning). Same error with 8.3.1.57021. I was surprised to get an out of memory error with 8.3.2, since the memory management seemed to me to be a lot better than with 8.0.0 - I had usually had 14-15 MB free after starting up 8.3.2, versus only 2-4 MB free with 8.0.0.

Does anyone else have this problem when planning a route into Tel Aviv from the suburbs?

metosim,

but the building files haven't changed - no new building files were released (at least not here), so the change cannot possibly be in the building files...

as for me, i have no problem with the "old" building files (3dc or 3dl) with the new map; everything that was there before (at least as far as i can tell) still seems to be there now - and in addition, i've got nice gas stations with the new israel_petrol.3dl file that was released with the 8.3.2 map...

the street names will be in whatever your interface language is. if you switch the interface language to hebrew, you'll see the street names and poi's in hebrew. and no, there's no way to have one interface language and street names in another language.

I have the same "Out of Memory" message , even even there is no planned route on screen .
I am on mio c250 , I thinks I'll back to version 8.0.0 .

Igal27,

I've made no changes at all to my installation, except replace the 2 files supplied above.
I stand by my previous claim.

Also, could you please post a link to the gas stations file that you mention?

Thanks.

Yigal and MadPriest,

Maybe you can help.
- Under program language I only have English UK or English US.
So I cannot change my interface language to Hebrew.
And I really prefer to have interface in English and Israel map in Hebrew, how can this be done?

Thanks!

i was referring to the english/hebrew combination... in any case, you don't have a choice anywhere of what language you want the street names to be in - if for the russian interface it's the hebrew street names, then you're stuck with them - you can't switch to english street names. for english it's english, and for hebrew it's hebrew - no choice there or anywhere else...
