Dom tom are the French overseas territories in the Pacific, like Tahiti, etc.

and in the atlantic and indian sea too

I have a question : what is the difference between .3dl and .3dc files? And another question..what is the difference between a standard .3dl file and a petrol 3dl file? For example Germany_petrol.3dl is bigger than the standard .3dl file

3DL = 3D Landmarks ... special buildings (churches, towers, palaces, castles, hotels, ...); mostly very detailed models fully covered with ortophotos

3DC = 3D Cities ... less detailed models of blocks of houses, mostly "grey", would became transparent when you are very close

"Petrol" 3DL is usually bigger than "regular" 3DL because of a quantity of filling stations and only "several" models included in "regular" 3DL file.
