I tried it during the weekend and it worked fine. However, skins seem to be not compatible with new (April) version of iGO8.

??????? what skin and for what resolutions?
I've tried ALL skins at 480_272 and ALL work but iconX (v200) crashed because of impossibility to stop the animated text.

I tried without skins too but it didn't work. The hungarian map not loading, it doesn't show anything. I'll try the other countries' maps too...

I had crashes with Netherlands8.3_2008.10_090218_TA.fbl at specific locations in the Netherlands last week. When I switched to Netherlands83_2008.Q3_081204_NAVTEQ.fbl I had no problems at all. tested with igo8 17 nov 08, 10 mar 09 and 03 apr 09. It was the TeleAtlas map that caused the crashes. Funny isn't it. And very annoying.
The specific location for this TeleAtlas map is Den Helder, Weststraat to Molenplein.

So be aware of bad TeleAtlas maps.

Cheers

No, the problem is in the skins (and in map). So, if you use the maps without skins the program didn't crash but you will see signpost pop-up without direction specification. So the original data.zip somehow is showing the signpost but if you use skins, the skin give error in such locations. In single word the crash is caused by the skin but the problem is in the map.

Hello,

I finally managed to find app and maps that work together :-) so iGO is working on my Mio Moov 360. Pretty cool.

I have 1 problem thought, wondering if anyone has any idea. I noticed, on trial and error, that when I copy basemap.fbl to maps, the application works, but when I select "exit" to exit to miopocket 2.0 (all installed on SD card), it RESETS the device (it reboots, and looses changes in settings, etc). When I delete "basemap.fbl" file, it all works fine (exits normaly to miopocket desktop).

What is in this basemap file? Do I need it? Is there a way to fix this?

Regards,
Dalibor

I have tried it in simulation mode, with Gurjon and default skin. I have not seen the signposts and had also no crash. (iGo8.3.2.79297 mar02 (Next) and data.zip 9b skin Gurjon v.5.10)

Map of Denmark 2008.10 (Q4)for 8.3.x version is no good, many freeways are blocked on the map for some reason, cant cross greatbelt ect. This is a major fuckup, map is totally unuseable !

It is better to use the NAVTEQ Q3 map. No problems in Denmark with this map.

Nope. All versions og iGo8 R3 from 17 nov 08 upwards.

Both in real time and in simulation.

Coming from Alkmaar taking the ferry to Texel. It always crashes when coming from
Weststraat going to Molenplein in the direction of the ferry. And I had more occasions like
this in the Netherlands (but cannot remember exactly the positions)

But I never tried iGo8.3.2.79297 mar02 (Next version)
Perphaps that is the only version that can use TA maps well? Or is more fault tolerant.

For the sake of it I will test it with that version as well.

EDIT: iGo8.3.2.79297 crashes the same with Netherlands8.3_2008.10_090218_TA
(who bought TeleAtlas? TomTom?)
