IMPORTANT NOTICE: The above content is NOT COMPATIBLE with iGO 8.0.0 series and is meant for 8.3.1 series only! Since the maps are from NAVTEQ, the routing and house numbering in the USA should be better over TeleAtlas, however it features less POI. These maps are equivalent to Garmin's latest City Navigator North America 2009.

For those of you having issues with the 7 digit postcode on the new map, the procedure for navigating when you dont have a house number is as follows:
input the postcode you want to navigate to (including a space after the first 4 characters).
Click on House number
click on the tick without putting a house number in.
Choose your destination if it offers you multiple choices
Hit set as destination button and go.

While we wait for the new set of maps, if it isn't too much trouble can be added some extra info for opening post maps like the date when the map was added (like the old 8.0 and iGo 2006+ maps)?
I'm getting confused which maps I have and which are to be downloaded.
Still hopping this info isn't generating too much trouble.

I downloaded only softwware and then maps, languages and so on... copied all to the specific folder. But what I miss is the 2577 folder?! I can only start the program directly from SD card. In former releases there was a 2577 folder. It was installed on the main memory and I xoud start it through today screen plugin...

am I doing something wrong?!

I have the same problem too! I must use a 2577 folder from an older version of Igo to work

make a link to the program in \Windows\Start Menu\Programs before you can add it to the quiqstart.

Best way is with resco explorer, "copy" and "paste shorcut".

I would give it a try; no need to install s.th. - just copy new igo to your SD - Card and run it..
