You post have wrong info...
1. Navteq Europe archive is bad and uncompleted...
2. The info about Navteq maps is wrong...
At this time We have only Western Europe 2009.Q1 maps package from Navteq
We don't have Eastern Europe 2009.Q1 maps from Navteq

And more...
At this time We also have 3 new Navteq 2009.Q2 maps:
Russia, Hungary, Germany

If you use iGO 8.3.4.102680 and you would like to have driver alert in Germany then use NQ_2009.Q2_090903.

Is there any more detailed FROM (Republic of Macedonia) than FYROM83TA_2009.02.1_090424.fbl?
This map contains the main roads only. But what would I expect from a map which is 68kbyte?
I did check navteq's offer, but no success.

Is there any map (new, old doesn't matter just be detailed enough no navigate me on the weekend) from a local provider maybe?
Until now I didn't really realize that I don't have a detailed Macedonian map, but as I started to type in some addresses I did.

Please help me out!

The most covered macedonian map is:

The current OSM (openstreetmaps) coverage of macedonia is very well, so the next update will be very good.


ps. if you also use navitel, I can send you a searchable macedonian .nm2 that I have made from the current status of the osm project. Coverage is very good.

Are the driver alerts visible in demo-mode?
Do you know any places in the Germany-map that have driver alerts.
Would like to check this out!

Yes, driver alerts are visible in demo (simulation) mode.

There are a lot of alternatives to verify this feature. Check it for example at known railroad crossings or along no passing sections etc.
