I'd be happy with anything newer than 2008.Q2 NavTeq, R3. At this point NA/Canada is behind by *2* map sets compared to Europe.... the Europeans need to realize that when they complain of 2008.Q4/2008.10 being out.... heh. At least you have Q3 maps and TMC.

Us in North America need to get together, figure out which devices are released with igo8, figure out which use 8.3.x (or are upgradeable to it), and find someone who has half a mind that's capable of downloading the maps. Hell, I'd almost be willing to just go buy the device, update it, and steal the maps... it would be just about that simple..

The Full Eu maps are how many gb???

Doesnt exist.
China has a special build, ie ver8.2.x....ONLY.
You can find a dedicated thread for that here.

Thanks bumpyjuice, no wonder the China map I got doesn't work. So which mean, I need to install iGo8 v8.2.x.xxxx right ? in that case I will have two version of the applications in my HTC-Diamond :lol:

Hopefully, it won't crash the device.

Can iGO8 v8.2.x.xxxx be install in the same directory as v8.3.x.xxxx ?

I have installed Igo8 on mio Touch HD.
The Igo version is 8.3.2.64873

Someone can tell me which is the last verson Italia Maps???

There are two maps for Italy TeleAtlas 2008.07 and Navteq 2008.Q3
Since they are from different providers you cannot compare them by release date. Try both of them and decide which one is better.
You can find both of them on this forum (use search function) or you can go to some site that has link to all latest maps by country. Example: http://volny.cz/sstopar/mio_mapy_igo8_3.html

Both Volny and Turtrek sites have the 2008.10 Teleatlas maps! July maps are old.

Bear in mind that Jpette and others claim that the best TA maps are from 2008.04 !!!!
