This is, unfortunately, just the same old navteq 2008Q4 map that has been available for a while...

TMC also works fine for me in Melbourne (Gold-FM 104.3).

Hi Megaduck, Is it possible to explain how to get the TMC working with Gold-FM 104.3. What program do I have to use to get the TMC to work. Thanks for your support again. Cheers!

I'm using a Uniden Trax 436 with built in TMC receiver, iGO 8.3.2.93112 and the licenses in here. iGO automatically detects the TMC receiver as long as device="MapTrax_436" is in sys.txt or system.ini, I can't recall which.

I use the diMkaMegaduck skin (Of course! ) and manually tune to 104.3. At home in Pakenham it won't pick up TMC but from Berwick in it does.

One oddity with the Trax unit. The TMC receiver will not turn on at all unless the unit is plugged in to power.

Hi Megaduck

I strongly suspect your Uniden is using the power cord as it's antenna.

About TMC
How do you set it up?
I try start autodetect it will not work, so I assume there is a special trick to it...

also about the australia maps, does anyone have the australia.3dc maps? would be really nice if we can get those

Thanks for the license link, works Great:
Tested on Sony Xperia Mobile (win Mobile 6.5) with both 8.0.0 and 8.3.2, using HyperGPS (lets the FM radio become a TMC receiver).
