I just had returned from Italy. I used Italy map from july 2007. To my opinion this map is older then the map from January 2007. To your knowledge.

Same with Germany, the 2007.7 and 2007.4 maps are both BAD!!! they are using old data, no idea, why this is, but i can confirm that there are news roads missing which already had been in the 2007.1 map.

Look at the following pictures, it´s an new road in the north of Dresden (S81), it was oppening in december 2006.

The first picture (data 2007/01) the road is missing:


In this picture (data 2007/07) the road is included:


And the last picture is from MN6 (DACH-MN62.map - data Q4/06), the road is also correct included.


Please tell me where you have found the hints, that the datasource of the 2007/07 map older than the 2007/01 map.

I use miomap 3.2 with the smartblue-Skin (7.0), often I also use the riks-skin (4.5).

Last picture was MN 6, I mean iGO7mio is better.

someone interested in a small compiler that changes tomtom's speedcams (*.ov2) into IGO speedcam.txt including *all* informations that tomtom can give?

The other solutions I found gave only the coordinates...
So i decided to write my own...my one gives coordinates, types and speed - much better to use I think.
In the rar you will find latest tomtom ov2 files, dumpov2.exe free tool and a vbs-script with explanations in the header.
For me it works fine - enjoy it!

In which maps? If you mean the new NA maps - that's a "feature" of Teleatlas maps.

I bought MIO C520 (MioMap v3.3) and unfortunately I am unable to add any of these maps to it with license.db

Am I doing something wrong? Sorry I am totally new.

In order to use all these maps you'll need the DEMO license.db, but this license works only with cracked versions of Miomap and iGO - see correspondent topics.

OK, I downloaded cracked miomap.exe from viewtopic.php?f=38&t=22867 (cracked miomap for 272x480 - http://rapidshare.com/files/32752794/MIOMAP33_272.rar.html), used licence.db from this thread but no luck.
What I am doing wrong please?

It is really strange. All maps from the opening post in this thread are known to work with the lisense.db posted there and with cracked versions of Miomap/iGO. Are you sure you'd used the right license?

Well, when I copy the files mentioned above (license.db & miomap.exe) to MioMap/MioMap folder and disconnect USB, I am not even able to run MioMap by clicking on the icon. To be sure I just copied your license.db again and having still the same issue - cannot run Miompa application.

Sorry, I am not good in this hacking stuff, maybe I am missing some other files like miomap.exe.id or so. I would really appreciate if you could send me all necessary files I need to copy to my email <[email protected]> OR just links where I can find and download them from net.

u have 3 files to change,

1: the miomap.exe
2:licence
3:sys

usually the new license go on your sd card, lie this you may run 2 license in same time.
base map is usually on the original license, this is why you need to make it work on 2 license.
