I can get it to run on my C320 but the data.zip doesn't have a 480x272 resolution -only 320x240 and 400x240. Am i completely missing something or does someone have an updated zip that fixes this?

Perhaps this is related to previous post but I can't get IGO8 working in portrait mode on my FSC Pocket Loox N520. IGO works only in landscape mode and won't change to portrait.

This demo only works on 320x240 or 400x240 (open Data.zip\ui_igo8)
It will also expire in 3 weeks.
I think the main thing is to get the maps. We''l have to wait for a good program to be released.
Om my old Mio 168RS the program hangs when I choose a destination. Even overclocked to 472Mhz, and with 30MB free Ram.

Maybe you are right but i think the maps that are floating around in the net are also "demo"-maps and surely they will be updated for the release product.

Is there anyone who knows how to set the Mio C310x with iGO8 to display the map in driving mode in 3D mode. My iGO always displays in Northern Mode? In 2D mode the display is OK.
In my original Mio, I can choose 1 in 3 display like in driving direction mode, Northern mode, and Airplan mode.
I had tried to click on the little compass on the right up corner but it does not help.

Sorry to appear to be complaining but I think this is actually for the benefit of everyone involved: wouldn't it be better to have all iGo8 maps/databases/issues discussed under a different topic?

Not only would it allow the current discussion thread to remain focused on the 2006 version (the original discussion), but would also serve as a central repository for maps, organized perhaps in a similar way that the one done by Karl at the initial post of this thread. This way, anyone can quickly have access to the most updated maps/databases in one go, rather that flicking through dozens of posts in order to find something.
