If u don't believe me just do it for yourself. U must decode it first using miomapdecode.exe.
Usage: C:\miomap\MioMapDecode.exe C:\downloads\greatbritain7ppc.fbl c:\miomap\maps. Open the command prompt (run cmd) just drag and drop miomapdecode.exe, greatbritain7ppc.fbl and the folder u want to put decoded file into to the command prompt window separating the file- and folder paths with space (as u see in the example), hit enter and your new file will be decoded. Then inform on your result. 2 saying old is better than 1

no i have to admit i didn`t decode the map
I`m going by the fact that it would not load using the 05/06 licenses and the link is on a mio partner server & it is posted march 2008

Hi I am new in this matter. So I have questions. I have Mio c710 PNA with miomap v3.3 and I changed now to riks skin and iGO 2006 Plus+. Now I would like to load the latest update of maps. I made a try with a map for Switzerland (2007_10) which I found in this topic tree, think page 145 or 146, and downloaded also a the latest licence.db I found (think on the latest page of this topic) but it not work. I got the error messsage: "HardwareID error"

It is very much to read the whole 147 pages of this topic.

Can somebody give me the "guide line" how I can get the latest maps working?
Which are the latest maps?
And which licence.db file is realy working?

You got PNA and not PDA so you need to look here :

Dear colleagues,
Due to the fact that now there are two different map sets (for iGO2006 and iGO8) and because I have to look after them at another forum, I have no enough time to look after iGO2006 maps here.
If there is abybody who could take care of this topic, probably we could ask admins to change the "poster" of the first post in order to let him correct links etc. in it.
Sorry for this and thanks for everyone at this forum (of course, I will visit it from time to time - this is one of the best PPC forums).

Still waiting for the 2008 maps for Miomap V3 of all europe, mainly BENELUX, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Portugal etc...
