I just crossed Europe with speedcams loaded with Speedcam Tool from Mio and works great (Miomap 3.2 and maps from this post> 1st page = many thanx and WZR$ donation to uploader! . Actualy, I hate speedcams from France cause they are too many on nationals streets

After I posted, I found speedcams for igo8 (all EU) in 2 versions: .txt and .spud
I put'em both in /content/speedcam/ , make prepared for next trip across EU, with maps only for my journey, others maps in backup folder. Unfortunatly, my mio701 is away from me so i got to wait my friend retourn from Tunisia.
Btw, anybody have a map of Tunis? I found a map for Garmin tunisV10 (free) but I don't know for sure if it is working properly till my buddy come back.

I too would like to extend my appreciation for the hard work in uploading these maps.
To cut a log story short, I have a Mio C520 and I'm travelling to Europe in a few weeks time.
I was hoping to buy some of the Europe/UK maps from Mio here in Australia, but they don't sell them any more. So my next resort was to try to unlock my Mio. Five hours later, no luck.
I can download and transfer these files into the maps directory on my Mio, but when trying to access them it says that "some maps are locked" - this is after I have downloaded the demo license into the Miomap folder.
Could anyone please offer some suggestions as to what I can do to get this working?

You need two files:
miomap (cracked files)
license (cracked)

You need download both 2 files to work.

I can download and transfer the maps and the licence to my MIO, but I have no idea where to actually put them! I mean, I put the maps in the maps folder, but the MIO says that some maps are locked and there's a little gold key next to the map.
I think all I need to know is where to put the license, in which folders on the MIO - could you please help with that?

Hi Bruce,
you don't need Transfer Hack if you have c520, just plug it to USB and drag & drop from folders in your PC to it
you need to find an hacked miomap.exe: which version (or release) do you own? I mean: you surely have miomap 3.3 but which is the date of your version? check it from about menu in your miomap. the latest should be "Jan 10, 2008". once you have discovered your version, you have to download an hacked version (better if the last), replacing miomap.exe and miomap.exe.id over your original ones. you just have an hacked license.db, you will see all maps

The date of my version 3.3 is October 24, 2007.
I spent a LOT of time yesterday on trying to unlock it, even downloaded and transferred MioPocket 2.0 to it but then it couldn't find any nav software.
I have downloaded the license from this site and put it on the Mio but still no luck.
Is there a hacked exe on this site?
I'm so sorry to be a pain here, I feel like a total dickhead asking all these questions.
