I think you should be patient. New maps will arrive obviously with cracked iGO8 8.3.1. I think only Eastern Europe new 2008.07 maps will be posted at the moment. I'm not sure but maybe these maps for Western Europe doesn't exist yet in 2008.07 version.

I took the new maps of Greece and Russia and I have seen that on my iGO8(july version) they work very well without patching.
