I am having the same problem. I have tried with 2 different dem files. Buildings are also not showing up when downtown (cincinnati, ohio). I do have 3D selected, and far away for visibility.
Any help would really be appreciated.

I was told that 3D buildings only work while you actually navigate ( not even in play route mode). Bare in mind there isn't a great deal of buildings on this yet. I use new detailed Europe TA dem file and it works great. Again you would not see much if you live in relatively flat area.

Did manage to download this files and put them in the Dem folder but I cant see any 3D terrains! Where will I put them in the Building or Dem folder?

DEM is for detailed landscape.... this for map look like from satellite

for 3D buildings you must use 3DC and 3DL files

There is no Latvia8 2008.01 map? Can somebody uploud it?

has anyone had problems with the program not launching with too many maps?

i put all the US states, POI, terrain and buildings on my SD card, but when i clicked iGo it looked like it was loading for a few seconds, i saw the spinning beachball thing and before even seeing the iGo splash screen, the program was exited and i was at my today screen again.

i can't pinpoint what did it. I've since deleted everything and have only my states map, POI, and buildings on there as well as a new terrain i saw posted today.

so far the only variable change i've done has been the terrain, could the old file (i just updated the file today inbetween crashes) be what was causing it, and i could try putting all my maps back on, or is there a problem with having too many maps?
also, without the major roads map i hear about, would it even be reasonable or possible for me to have all of these maps and expect to get from state to state?

sorry for all of these nonsense questions, noob here just trying iGo for the first time, been a TomTom faithful till now.

3D buildings are working in simulation mode but only few capitals are covered !
Maybe your license file is wrong. Check in about menu if everything is unlocked !

Thanks so much for the suggestion. I did check my licenses, and all seem to be fine. I still don't get any 3D though Where I live it is a major city, so I would think buildings would be included. If not, at least mountains etc, but I get nothing at all.
Any other suggestions would really be appreciated.

How do I install the final version in a PNA with wince 4.2 (mio 310x)
