If these maps are not shown, all information from them are in the regular countries' maps. If you will delete one (or more) of regular maps, you will see the relevant "Major Roads" map in the "Settings | About | Maps".

Hi, I have installed Igo8 with the USA maps and buildings and POI's.

I have noticed that the USA maps aren't very accurate. For example, my home address in Igo8 is listed about several hundred feet away from where is actually is. I have used Garmin and TomTom and they both are usually dead accurate. But with Igo8 and Igo My Way 2006 - they are both slightly off in the maps. Does anyone know what the issue could be?

I have a 2gb card and I am using a HTC Kaiser (ATT Tilt)..

I have a same experience with Canada map. I think the map company focusing to Europe and does not give a s*** about us.
The latest map for Canada is 10.2007 but you can find two 2008 version maps country's like Albania. I don't know how many people using GPS in Albania, but I don't think that much like Canada and USA. But we have to live with that .

since the USA maps/poi are demo and missing lots of POI's in places, does anyone know if its possible to extract poi's out of the old .fbl files. Those i know were worknig 100% and simply pulling the poi list out of that file and making it into a .poi file could solve the USA problem till the real release is out.

I am not sure but that could be GPS positionning error, don't forget that NMEA data are distributed by American GPS satellite and army is still managing these data ! Like GLONASS, BEIDU, and maybe GALILEO

hi... the issue can't be related to the US military, because all my other GPS devices and also Garmin Mobile XT and TomTom Navigator 6 - which is all loaded on the same device as Igo, all indicate my house in the correct position.

This issue seems to be related to Igo software or the Igo maps.

Also - the US military have turned off selective availability a while back.
