iGO8 SpeedCams for FULL EU and DACH from the 14th of March 2010
Requirements: iGO v.8.x.x , tested on PDA and PNA too
Overview: These brand new updated IGO speedcam database files (as 14-03-2010) are once with mobile speedcams and once without it. The databases contain the full EU and DACH (Germany, Austria, Switzerland).

Download Instructions:
Delete all files in iGO8\content\speedcam, then copy the .txt file you've chosen in there. You'll have to wait some minutes (depending on the GPS device) for the first starting of igo after the copy. No worries on time's length, it'll start for sure

Can I use this file for Amigo 8? and where do i have to put the TXT file?

the files can be used for any igo8.xx version. amigo too of course.
and just put the txt files in the folder iGO8\content\speedcam.

these speedcamfiles are from SCDB?

no, they are from pocketnavigating.de. they are selling these data.
that's the most current SC database for europe I know ... at least as up2date as SCDB I guess
I never tried SCs from SCDB because those were always up2date!

Which are the best? From SCDB or from pocketnavigation (the ones with DACH and Full Europe)? I have used the latest Full Europe from pocketnavigation in Germany and i was not warned about an old fixed radar! I could also notice that many places where mobile radars stay were not warned too! I will switch back to speedcams_EU_20090627, it has 1,827 MB or to SCDB. What do you recommend? Cheers!

I think the last download should be "without mobile speedcams" and not "with"

I am new here so sorry for the stupid question...
I have downloaded the DACH and added it to my speedcam folder.
but no speedcams show up on the map. (eventhow I have checked the show speedcam).
I know speedcams in Switzerland are not allowed, so do I need to install a patch or something to make it work???

You need to activate speedcam warning in settings menu (available only on active gps, else you can`t see it) or add the following to your sys.txt:

[warning]
speedcam_warning=1

That should work. It doesn`t depend on the country you are.

the sppedcam database from speedcams.hu aren't good for EU?
