Well, maybe my "tutorials" will help some poor non-techie, anyway. That's why they are so detailed.

I also tried to "have a beautiful sky", following the tips on http://www.gurjon.com/information/ , but it didn't work.

I thought there might be a demand for a manual in English for Gurjon/DVS1's skin (v. 5.X), so I translated the Russian one available on Gurjon's site (http://www.gurjon.com/) - for which the credit goes to valmont_al - to English, updated it, and added some new sections.

The manual is available directly for download from Gurjon's site (downloads section).

Enjoy :-)

Changed from gurjon skin GJ 5.9 to 5.11

With 5.11 no road signs appear on my P535. If I go back to 5.9 Real View is working again :?:

uran235, do you have "signpost" checked under Menu -> Settings -> Map Screen -> Lane Information ?

igal27  I do check that right now...
thx for that hint..

edit:

seems it was activated. But I am gonna make a test drive tomorrow and report back. (The Voice sound which comes up with the Signpost came up as usual, just no signs)

it should work... i just tested it (in simulate mode, on a road where i know for sure lane info/signpost info is available) with both gj10 and gj11, and it showed the signposts in both of them when and where it should, with the lane info appearing at the bottom (as i set it in the preferences) and with the sound i selected when the lane info/signposts appeared. you don't even have to display lane information (that's complementary to signposts) - when i turned lane info off but had "signpost" checked, the signposts popped up properly (it just didn't show the lane info at the bottom).

this may sound obvious, but are you sure you checked this somewhere where there is lane information? try doing a simulation on a road where you know for sure that you've seen signposts pop up in the past, as not all maps have lane info, and even for those that do, it's not necessarily always complete...

Hello igal27,

many thanks for re-testing & helping me out but it really seems that it just was "not checked" in the menu under Signposts. :? So just a "dumb" mistake of my own..
It was working today with Navteq & Teleatlas maps great as usual ;)
