Thanks for sharing but I have a problem with your data.zip. It load normally when I start iGO but The right icon are not normal and when I touch them iGo restart. I've try to acces the plan mode but iGO restart too.

Do you have any idea?

I use iGO 8 version 8.0.0.35389
on Mio C310

Hi,
as I know MioC310 is working with 320*240 resolution, so you don't need my data.zip. You have a problem with right buttons, because I arrange them for other resolution.
If you want to use this data.zip you need to change common folder in ui_igo8 with the original one, and I think that everything will be OK.

Thanks bobby2005!! i'm going to test it, with spanish language, whitch keyboard layout must I use?

At this moment I fixed English and Bulgarian keyboard. Also I can fix the spanish one, but I will need original spanish language file which must be located in IGO8/content/lang, and spanish alphabet in txt file. If you can upload this files somewhere and send me links with private message, I will make it for you

I am no expert but was just playing around and successfully created my loading screen (480x234) as seen below. If interested, download the loading.bmp file and replace the one inside the data.zip/ui_igo8/480_234.

I found the picture from the internet, use MS Paint to adjust it to 480x234 and save it as 24 bit "loading.bmp" file, then add text to it using a Fuji program that comes with my digital camera. After done, I just replace the "loading.bmp" from inside the "480_234" folder within data.zip.

By the way, I noticed that it will give me error if I just copied and paste a file to replace a file with the same name. So I first delete the original loading.bmp (maybe I should have renamed it as loading_original.bmp or something first) then copy and paste the new loading.bmp into the "480_234" folder... When doing this, my Windows Vista automatically rezips the data.zip file which is kind of nice because I do not remember Window XP could do this.

Riks Congratulations well-rounded job as always!

-Could you make the left panel a little trasparent cause the map area is really limited
-Where i must copy the mp3player.exe so i can make it work by pressing the button inside the skin?
-Your RiksNight Scheme link doesn't seems to work  (http:/rapidshare.com/files/115622639/RiksNight.zip works fine)
-What's the difference between the data.zip provided by you and the default one?

Thank You!

Hi!

I made new version of my latest skins.
I added symbol for batterystatus, gps-status and sound.
I have one skin with only the directionicon in small size not blocking the map and i have one skin with next and second directionicon, next diricon on the map and second below.
Hopefully the time in 12-hour format will fit in the boxes too.

I moved the layer so the laneinfo does not cover top-bar, it is behind.

I have also changed cruisemode to look like planned-route-mode more.

NOTE! TTF-files in the zipfile must be unzipped to the igo8-folder!

I hope you like!

I am not sure i have the time to do that. I have to redo the graphics, top and bottombars to fit the with of 240 instead of 320 and thats a lot of work. I have to change location of a lot of stuff also and i cannot test in 240x320 so its not likely i will do it because it probably will be to much work... :(

to have acces to mp3player.exe, calculator.exe and sirftech.exe must copy in root of sd card.
yes, thanks, i will correct the link for riksnight scheme (http:/rapidshare.com/files/115622639/RiksNight.zip)
the difference is enumerated on the site and section "about skin" from program ("main menu" => "settings menu" => pag.2 => "about skin" button).
