I made an update of my clean skin.
I have placed the speedwarning better and i use a background, the speedwarning is changed back to the one used in igo2006, like it better.
I have also moved the cursor (cararrow) more to the right to center it in the map area.

And you dont need any special fonts for this one

I hope you like it.

You can change in the 3D settings, but but you couldn't set that you always see the buildings, because numbers the time the buildings are overlaying the road, whither you must go. I hope it is clear. Sorry for my english .

Otherwise you want to deactive activesync on pda or time and time-zone synchronization in igo8 ?

Guys, I want to alter/create one of my own color schemes but I'm kinda lost in them. Please correct me if I am wrong but to alter the colors I have to alter them in the section [color]?

Those "a, b, c, d"s are what I have to change?
What is the internal and what is the external color? (mostly it is the same)

It is a very great skin with 240x320, but the other (menu) screen is 320x240 and not visible full picture. Do you want to correct it ?

The one for smartzoom is not a special feature, it is a standardfunctionality.
Tap and hold the smartzoom-icon on the mapscreen and you will get the settings for smartzoom, it should work in all skins.

Hi guys SKIN-DEVELOPERS.

I have a problem. I do not know, which from your skins to use, because all of them are excellent! I love Glikogliko-skin, Jocco, B1967, and so on...

I want to ask Glikogliko, I know that you have a lot work, but only if it is possible to set line-navi arrows to appear upstairs, now it appears in the middle and when I have most-tilt view, would be fine to have these line-arrows on clear sky upstairs. If you will have a while to do it, I will be gratefull, butt even without this change I will use your skin very glad!!!

And another- in some skins, these line-navi arrows are smaller in night scheme - I have a solution - when I create folder NIGHT in folder "320x240", and copy every files (only files, not folders) from "320x240" and paste them to "NIGHT" folder, after that line-navi arrows appears same (bigger) size even in night scheme. Only for people, who want to got it like that.

Glikogliko, your skin evoke that I am stopping to miss TOMTOM NAVIGATOR, because with your skin I have TOMTOM with functions of IGO8, which is REALLY heartwarming, clarion, simply ingenious.

Still not right in portrait mode, sorry!


Main screen works ok (HTC Elf, WM6.1) but a lot of the setting screens are still landscape and are therefore unusable. Also, the pan/zoom icons etc that apper when you touch the screen are in landscape position

And I'd love to know how to get rid of the speed limit always on!

Unfortunately it aint so. Standardsetting is to change the meters or miles when zooming in or out, but not the degree of the display. Just check out the plus plus skin and you will see what i mean. My english is not good enough for explaining exactly i guess.

Yes is the same, but now the ZIP issue is corrected: you can use it directly without extracting it on another level.

The DATA.ZIP is included since I changed the dayheightcolormap.bmp. It's the only change. If you want, you can just copy the file in your actual DATA.ZIP.
For some reason I can't put the dayheightcolormap.bmp in the SKIN file.. it does not work. For having it be displayed I need to put it into DATA.ZIP.

What do you mean by copying? Erasing existing \igo8\data.zip file by the one in your archive?

My data.zip is +/- 12 MBytes, yours only 5.8 M

When I just replace my data.zip by yours : Igo 8 gives a bug message on the start.

But, when I open my data.zip and yours (with winrar) and I drag and drop your data.zip in my data.zip ---> it works.

Please explain more for novice
