First, apologies if this is in the wrong place or inappropriate - I have only previously used Mobilism for books.
Many years ago I purchased the OS maps for all of the UK to use in the ViewRanger navigation app. They have been brilliant and helped me all over the country.
Viewranger has now been bought by another company. I wrote and asked what the future would be, and how I might retain access to the expensive maps I have bought. The answer was 'there is no future', and whilst there is no current timescale to turn off the app, eventually it will cease.
The maps are in a format with the extension *.VRC. I've spent a lot of time searching and cannot find any way of using them outside of the Viewranger app which will, in time, stop working. I can cope with not being able to search for a location, I just want to view them as a 25:000 scale detailed OS map.
Please can anyone help?
