Recently I installed Igo Primo 2010 navigation software on my Sony nv-u92t using the post of cebu. Thanks for this!

The software works fine but I don’t get a gps signal. I followed the instruction, read many other forum post and tried different settings but I didn’t get it fixed. I am new in this so I hope someone can help me.

My sys.txt file:

[interface]
resolution_dir="480_272"
vga=0
shutdown_time=0

[rawdisplay]
class="landscape"
screen_x=480
screen_y=272

[debug]
skip_eula=1
enable_roadshadow=1

[map]
auto_nightmode=0

[msnd]
msnd.start=0

[tts]
always_say_road_names=1
announce_street_name=1

[sound]
queue_length=200
ding=0

[gps]
port="5"
baurrate="57600"

I also tried these nav-u.mscr setting as mentioned in the installation description:

RunWait("\Mounted Volume\Sony\nav-u\ToolDevice.exe","off 18")
RunWait("\Mounted Volume\Sony\nav-u\ToolDevice.exe","off 15")

and

RunWait("\Mounted Volume\Sony\nav-u\ToolDevice.exe","off 19")
RunWait("\Mounted Volume\Sony\nav-u\ToolDevice.exe","off 17")

It looks like the device is searching for the gps signal. I get two messages: “detecting gps signal” and “gps signal is turned off” A reset and waiting 20 to 30 minutes, no result. With the original sony software the gps signal works fine.

I also looked in the data.zip file. In folder config/devices I see these files:
asus_R700.ini;
navon_N260.ini;
navon_N470.ini;
navon_N480.ini;
navon_N560.ini;
navon_N650.ini;
navon_N660.ini.

I tried other primo software data.zip files and they have other devices in this folder. Do I have the right data.zip file for my device?

I hope someone can help me and give me the right settings/data.zip file for the sony u92t. Many thanks!!!
