Hi all,

Please can anybody tell me which files to be used for HTC Diamond.
Does anybody can provide a link to the right files?
When I am reading all the posts I am getting completely confused thats too much discussions I cannot follow.

Would really be interested in a link for a working solution for the Diamond with Terrain view.
I assume the terrain view means I can see buildings in the cities, correct?

Thanks a lot
boris03

P.S. which maps do I need 1/2009?

Hello,

been playing with this for a couple of days, so far i managed to sucessfully download, unrar (damn passwords!) :-) and install the software on my Mio Moov 360. Then I installed (proud of myself, ha) english voices and text for menues etc, and set params for GPS unit (COM port, speed).

So far so good.

It is working, finding and displaying my position in map, but whenever I try to calculate route, it reports error that it can't be calculated and to try and change my settings (which ofcourse is a total nonsense).

Any clues? Do I have wrong maps? I also noticed that it doesn't find all streets when I search etc.

What am I doing wrong, I downloaded everything from the 1st link...

Thanx,

Dalibor

It does...that's my setup.

How did you manage this? I have version 7.4.0 or version 7.3.7 both do not work with my NA_Maps_Q3_2008.

Can you give us the content of map-directory pleaese?

Hi,
Still looking for a 7.4.0 for the Diamond.
There was a link provided with nzb files.
Sorry to ask but do I need to have an account for downloading with Leecher or can I just download?
What maps are included in that nzb link?

Thanks
boris03

P.S. Or does anybody has it running on a Diamond already

instead of newsleecher you can also use Grabit (it's free)

you also need to know the address from your provider to use newsgroups

or better....take a payserver (6 - 7 euro a month)

OK, I found a thread where they suggest setting memory in control panel->system to 10000 for storage, is this correct? (from what I understand that would be the same as using .mscr file to lounch it with setMem.exe?)

Has anyone managed to run this on Mio Moov?

I mean, it is displaying my position correctly, according to the database (street name), i can't believe it doesn't have enough RAM to calculate the route???

Any help appreciated!

Set max. on left side, but you must do that every time you start mn7

I figured that :-) But I just want to make sure that is the problem before I try to "automate" the solution :-)

Great thread, and thanks to ipse for helping me out on my Mio C520. Two questions - how can I get Bluetooth working with MN 7.4.0 on the C520, and my screen doesn't seem as bright as it should be (settings even have it at max for daytime). Also, any config tips/settings I should check to ensure I am getting the best performance? Menus seem a little sluggish right now.
