I see these .nfs, .psf files scattered around Navigon. Should there be not a place (folder) for each individual file extension to go into ?

Navigon 5100 Q1 2009 North America (USA, CANADA, HAWAII) with MN 6.5 + RealityView + Lane Assist + Zagat + POI + TMC

can somebody confirm that MN6.5 maps work with MN7 please.

first this is a splitt archiv with 8 parts while the last part is missing.
second these maps do not work with MN 7
third file date is something in 2007 - the maps are old definitely not Q1_2009

I was able to look into the archive finally....WTF?...the NA map file is from Feb 2008....not sure how we get Q1 2009 maps out of that???

on my Mio C250 I have memory problems when run this aplication. Available is about 20MB of memory, is it that enough to run this aplication. iGO8 run very nice with even less memory.

...Better not to use it on c250...
Actually I'm using build 789 from gulli:board with Hardwarelayer.dll from build 648 and seems goin' good...
remember to download from there maps too! (b789 maps are different)

Thanks, Carodiavolo for you fast resquest. I don´t understand german language so, where can download the version build 789 ??, and the maps ??. I have NN 7.4.0 build 648 with Q1.2009 maps but I have problems of memory and the program stop. I´m not using the Panorama View. I use a script for run MN from SD Card. Thanks for all.

I asked some time ago, because the TMC on the 3110 does not work for me.
I installed the software. of 2much (7.4.0 - 7310 with Amendment Mobilenavigator.res) and everything works perfexione even panoramaview3D and all the rest, the only drawback, and that the collec USB and power the box RSD (Navigon TMC), not the law.
You can work around this problem?

I have build 787 running on navigon 7110. Everything is working fine, with exeption of the keyboard. The strange thing is when I go to enter an address, the "Country section" is activ /I can change the country with the letters/. When i move to the next section "City or Postal Code" the letters are grey and can't be used. When i click on "Enter Coordinates" the numbers are active again, and I can enter coordinates.
Does anybody has a solution. I will appreciate any help.

Finnaly, after 2.5 day I finnaly got 7.4 to work with q1 2009 maps. No more "no maps found" error

It seemed like the GPS still used the old mn6.1 from the internal memory.
Tried hard reset, soft reset, unlocking the gps with a cab file, Q308 files, Q408 files, mn65, mn 7.3.7, rename files, rename maps, replace maps and files differently. Basicly a frustrating 2-3 whole days testing.

After several attempts I just tried the 7.4 sw from a german forum again:
1. Extract the rar to the GPS root memory
2. ONLY put ".map" files from Q1 2009 file in the map folder
3. Did a soft reset, by pressing the button on the back
4. Change display mode to landscape in PNA/GPS setting.
5. Press the navigation icon, TADA

I think the "MN6-Update.cab" file did a proper update. Maybe I couldn't use the file on forum cause I had firmware 1.57, or something else.

Hope this post will help someone else.

Was a mistake from Navigon from the original download...i have re-upped new archive and the file is dated march 09

I wasn't sure how to create a new thread for this, but everyone is waiting for this for a long time. I found this on another forum. Eventhough it says for 5100, I am pretty sure that maps are interchangeable. Give it a shot, and if you can, split it up:
